Smocked Baby Dresses and Rompers
Spring ~ Smocked, Beaded Rompers
White rompers for approx a six to nine months old child.
Lemon lace has been used to make the free coat-hanger.
Made in a fine figured white poly/cotton these rompers have their front and back yokes, and cuff edgings piped in lemon fabric. The neutral colour makes it ideal for either a boy or a girl.
There is a generously sized two button back opening to comfortably pass over baby's head and a three button opening in the crotch to allow for simple nappy changes.
The smocking design is a three colour pattern in a dark brown, green and lemon. In the centre of the design is a pattern of four rows of white pearl-type beads.
For safety's sake, these beads... as with all my beaded garments, have been triple stitched, fastened off with a couple of 'smocker's knots' and sealed with fabric sealer.
Nape to hem, the length of these rompers is 35cm.
