Prairie ~ Smocked Bishop Yoke Dress
This winter baby dress with long sleeves and a bishop yoke is sized to fit from newborn up.
A white lace coat-hanger is supplied with this dress. It is wider than some of the other 'baby' hangers because it has to support the weight of the bishop yoke in this heavier winter material.
A brushed winter cotton dress in a dainty print of blue flowers, peach and green 'leaves' on an off-white background, this is one of the very few which are trimmed with cotton lace. This is around the bottom of the sleeves and is very narrow.
The smocking design picks up two main colours in the dress and is a strong, complex pattern in blue and peach with the addition of a darker blue. The cuffs have a modified version of the pattern in quite a wide band.
Nape to hem the length of this dress is 44cm with an extra 6.5cm in the hem which can be dropped to extend the life of the dress well into toddler-hood. However, experience with this style of dress has shown that the it fits until baby is too tall for it... and even then sometimes teamed with a pair of fancy 'tights' to continue its life as an 'angel top'.
