Joab Richardson, son of  Peter and Martha Livingston Richardson, b. in Newberry County, S.C., married Levinia McMasters.  They had three sons, Hiram, Josiah, and Job.  Peter Richardson was born in 1748 in Frederick County VA.  He married a second wife Frances Smith, and they had several children.  A file of Peter Richardson's  descendents is available on request.

William Richardson came to Walker County, Alabama in the same time period (by 1840) that Hiram and his brothers did.  Tertutless Richardson wrote that his cousin Joseph and brother Hiram were in his camp during the Civil War.  J. Britt believes that John and Joseph Richardson may have been sons of William.
