Royal Factory Ishapore .410 Conversion

This is a single shot smoothbore conversion to .410 in done in India at the Ishapore Rifle Factory. This conversion on this rifle ( a 1913 LSA&co No III) was done in 1937.This was originally done to use a brass .303 cartridge case but many were changed in the US to chamber a 3" .410 shell. A wooden plug was fitted in the magazine well which effectively makes this a single shot gun.
