Wise Questions 1. Why is william such a known writer? Is all of his plays authentic? 2. What is the message in romeo and juliet? What does it mean? My Perspective 3. What I think about reading shakespeare and if we should read it Romeo and Juliet?
Wise Questions Answers Adam Tucker P.2 5/15/03 1. I have found out that William was into drama and poems and plays. For some wierd he reason fled from London after being caught pouching somewhere. He fled with a drama group that had visited Stanford that year. William Shakespeare is such a known writer because his has vivid writing and beautiful language that flows like the sea. People thought he was a genius and has written more plays then anybody can count. He was a poetic of genius who happened also to be an actor and to be writing for the stage he loved. So his plays are eternally young and eternally actable. He was such a good writer because he wrote about what he knew like country life. He also wrote about family and he did have a family. Is it argued that shakespeare ideas are not authentic or written by another person. Try three other people. There names are Charles Marlow, Edward De Vere and Francis Bacon. They are saying that these three guys writting styles are so obviously written in shakespeare's plays that people say he has plagiarized Marlowe's, Dever's and Bacon's writting. My prespective is that for one shakespeare was educated, but not as much as Marlowe, Devere and Bacon was becuase he wasn't as rich and as powerful as they were. The moral of Romeo and Juliet is not to rush into things like love, hate and important decisions. All people should think twice about every decision they make. Another One of the life lessons is that love is greater than everything to Romeo and Juliet. And It also shows that you should not rush into things. In the book it has them get killed because of the love for each other. It means that love is precious and you should savor that love unlike romeo and juliet so don't rush love. Hate is a such a humongous emotion that people rake a one sided opinion on things for example The montagues & capulets all hate each other (which to me is confussing becuase I don't know why) and I bet if they slowed down and found some common ground they would stop feuding. Also the important decision thing is important NOT to rush ecspecially marriage becuase that is a big decision. http://www.btinternet.com/~steveaj/Shakespeare/romeosyn.htm 3. Shakespeare is a great book to read, but frankly it's really hard to understand. If it weren't for the definintions of what the characters are saying in the book I would be lost. I do think we should read shakespeare because it has a lot of life lessons in Romeo & Juliet that even apply to today. Like on love and how not to handle love or you'll end up like Romeo and Juliet. Also becuase it makes you think at a higher level. Some of my classmates think thats bad, but I think otherwise. Also how to handle and to settle your differences before they get out of hand like the did in Romeo and Juliet (Like the hatred between The Montagues and Capulets and Tyblat,Mercutio and any others being Killed.)

Why is shakespeare known as "The Bard?" http://absoluteshakespeare.com/trivia/facts/facts.htm Nobody knows Shakespeares true birthday. The closest we can come is the date of his baptism on April the 26th, 1564. By tradition and guesswork, William is assumed to have been born three days earlier on April the 23rd, a date now commonly used to celebrate the famous Bard's birthday. The Bard coined the phrase, "the beast with two backs" meaning intercourse in his play Othello.
