| Even though my absolute number one favorite song of Michael's isn't on this album, this is by far my favorite album. This album came out just days before I left for my freshman year of college in another state, being away from home for the first time in my life. It was a great school and I had a great time, and I listened to this album over and over again back then as it was brand new. Now everytime I listen to this album, it brings back good memories of that school and the friends I made there. This album holds a lot of nostalgia for me and it will always be a comfort to my soul. On top of that, the title just seems ironic in many ways. I didn't complete my schooling at that college. God called my home before I finished and He's been leading me every step of the way, even when life's circumstances seem to cloud the path. Smitty wrote a song on this album for the kids and staff at Kanakuk Kamp (where I worked one summer). In that song, "Straight To The Heart" his words match perfectly my feelings and thoughts toward that school, that town those people, that place.
