Fron : Hey Drab!

Algias: Alright, Drab and Fron. Drab you are a Human mage, and Fron you are a Half-Orc barbarian.

Fron : That's correct.

Drab : Yep

Algias : Let the battle commence! Drab, you go first. (dice-roll just taken)

Drab : Sword.

Fron : Block.

Algias : Sword attempted. Sword hit. Block attempted. Block failed. Sword attempting to breakthrough armour. Sword broke through. 15 damage inflicted on Fron. Drab=100 Health, Fron=110 Health.

Fron : Sword.

Drab : Dodge.

Algias : Sword attempted. Sword missed.

Drab : Burning Fire.

Fron : Block.

Algias : Burning Fire attempted. Burning Fire hit. Block attempted. Block failed. Burning Fire attempting to breakthrough Armour. Burning Fire could not.

There you have it. All the block and hit rules were controlled by me here. I didn't type them on screen. I assure you everything is fair and I will not abuse my power :=). That's just an example.
