Smiting Sword Mercenaries
Known to his friends as Algias, is the leader of the Smiting Swords, and has travelled the lands (and taverns) of Faerun. He was born in Amn, in the city of Athkatla in the year 1350 DR (Dale Reckoning) . He is now 22 (in the game) and a paladin good and true. He is not a paladin of any particular God, rather he does jobs for the good of people and his main God is his father, Bhaal. He only murders when he must though, seeing fit as to his cavalier class. He may be found either in Wino's Tavern, or in one of the many Smiting Swords hideouts throughout the known world. Don't underestimate his years-he is one of the most powerful fighters I have ever met in my life. -Elminster
Alora Zyphr was born the child of a whore, who abondoned her on the doorstep of a childless Lord. They felt obligated to bring her up but no love was ever really shown. She hated that place. So she ran away. She ended sleeping in the doorway of one of the local sorcerers. When he found her the next morning he saw her potentail. From age 12 to age 18 she trained as an assasin, a swordswoman, and acrch and above all, an Adept Mage. She left then and has been hunting for the right company to sign up with. She believes she has found it.
Thorek Ironbrow came from the dwarven stronghold in Kara-tur to the east, where he was a general of sorts. After fighting and winning many battles for his country, a vile rumour was spread about him and he was banished. Algias found him drinking off his latest misadventure in Wino's Tavern, where the two became firm friends. They travelled for several years together before making " The Smiting Swords Mercenary Company". He is now trying to clear his name and win back his honour.
Oddly enough Nisk was born and raised by her parents.
They are even still alive. As a child she never
touched a sword or an arrow or a crossbow- she played
with dolls. It was strange that she had gotten to
where she has. Though as an elf she showed also wit
and also swiftness- two things that are important for
a good thief and assassin. She had learned some of her
art from Jubril, he was her grandfather who had a
strange sense of humor and loved mischief. He had
gotten the whole thieving idea in to her little head
was she was only an elfling. With battles unspoken of
both of strength of arms and strength of mind Nisk
climbed high to get a great reputation. Although her
real name isn't Nisk and is something she refuses to
tell a soul she is only known as Nisk.
Lirael Marie Manchester was born in Westchester and a
daughter of a Baron and Baronness. She married Lord
Lokla Manchester, Earl of Langford, and had a
daughter, Rosalind Marie Manchester, when she was 16.
Then one day when she was in a fight with Lokla, he
left with Rosalind and was never seen again. With no
money or respect, Lirael fled Langford and met a group
of Blades. They trained her to be a blade, and with
her thirst for learning, she recieved training in also
how to become a bard. She is now 23. Her only
companion is her horse- Khan.
A'Turin has wandered the lands of Faerun for many years now, gathering fame and infamy in different places. He has a hatred of Abe, a man who is pillaging the villages around Beregost. Infact, that is where he and Algias met. They both worked in the same regiment of rebels against Abe, and killed most of his followers. Algias offered that if he ever needed work, then to just ask for him. Many years later, when the Smiting Swords had been created, A'Turin walked in and joined as a very capable fighter.
Memphis is a rare member known as a 'Half-Orc'.
His mother abandoned him as a child and he is
desperately trying to find her. His father and him
do not get on very well and Memphis wants to murder
him. He also wants to track down and kill
all Orcs.

His Real Name Is Vincent R. Strife, A Trained Mercenary For Hire. He Was Born In The Kingdom Of Ravendra, The City Unknown. His Prices Are Reasonable, And Is One Of The First Memebers Of The Clan. He Has Travelled The Lands Of The World, And Fights To Live. To Find Him, Look For A Wolf... His Spirit Will Be With It.. Simply Whistle At The Wolf, And He Will Come... He Is A Paladin For His God, And Won't Hesitate to Kill When Nessicary.
Night Hawk was born and raised in Hedrile. His mother is still alive but his
father was murdered by a Troll. Night Hawk was then trained by a Mage to
become strong and powerful. Night Hawk was on a mission to kill all Trolls. While Night Hawk was travelling around the land he met Algias who let
him join into the Smiting Swords Mercenary Company.
