rian wanted to get the leaders approval to put parents in charge of this and leave the leaders to coordinate events, which was done.

The boys next focus will be the Klondike.

While in the scout store, Brian learned that the whole troop can earn an Emergency Preparedness Badge. He did not have the materials with him at the meeting, but wondered if the adults would commit to doing the badge as well.

At the round table, several people were talking about how to do merit badges.  In the interest of an equal playing field, Brian wanted us to consider using the worksheets found at meritbadges.com.  This might help when doing groups for a merit badge particulary with items like discuss & explain.  It would also help with record keeping for the scout.
Remember when doing a merit badge, you need to use the buddy system.
