Report on Past Trips / Events
1.  Hurricane Isabel-all are safe.  Our trailor moved from one side of the parking lot to the other.  The jack portion was damaged.  The vent was blown open, but stayed intact, and some water was on the plywood floor, but should dry out.  Thank you to Brian L. who moved the trailor back, and to Brian L. & Frank Mc. who removed the damaged part to get it fixed.
2.  Summer Camp 2003 recap-Camp Shenandoah-a good time. High Adventure was HIGH adventure.  In camp, Tony A. Did an excellent job as senior patrol leader.  Weather was cool at night.  At the Eagle camp at Chick, a good time was had as well as being productive.
3.  OA Summer Ordeal-August was hot, very hot, but a good time was had.  Troop 7 is always highly involved in the district and makes a good showing.
4.  Calendar Planning-was had in August, new calendars have been handed out but not emailed yet.
5.  Chesapeake Bay Bridge Bike Hike-was a great family time and a beautiful day.  All bikers made the 19 miles which will also count as one of their 20 bikes for the cycling merit badge.

5.  Oct. 17 - 19: Colonial Trail Fall Camporee at Aberdeen Farm THEME: FISHING (no fishing licenses required: its private property).  Suffolk school system has decided to have school this Saturday, so the camporee maybe abreviated.  Troop 3 is hosting this at Aberdeen Farm.

8. Summer Camp 2004 - week of July 4 - 10: Base camp fee is $215 per scout; adults roughly $108; High adventure camp fee for scouts is $230. This is based on last years fees.   First payment of $50 for each scout is due at the camp by February, which means we must have a payment by Jan. 20. Discussion was held as cost is higher to have  3 payments or 4 payments.   A vote was taken to have 4 payments to make the amount easier to handle.  Tom L. will oversee high adventure, Marcia D. will coordinate merit badges, Liz M. will coordinate health forms and money.  Look for an email regarding payment dates.
