| Leaders� Meeting August 19, 2003 Leaders present-Only 5-Brian, Buddy, John, Kevin, & Liz Planning Meeting changed to Wednesday Aug. 27 at 6:00 pm as Brian could not be there on Thursday Aug. 21st. We have lots of preset plans, but need to insert service projects, and campouts with an eye to doing some rank advancement type of activities at each. Scouts need to come with some information to the planning meeting on events they would like to do. Events- Sept 26-28 Eastern Shore Bike Hike & Camping. Checking for interest. Fall Camporee Oct 17-19 at Aberdeen Farm. Theme is Fishing. A Liscence is not needed as it is private property. Blackstone will be Nov. 7-9. Looks like all merit badges will be offered except atomic energy. Will need to pay particular attention to prereq.�s as this is a weekend only. 1. The troop needs to define appropriate service projects for service hours. 2. For the Camping merit badge, our scouts need to keep a log. Put some of the responsibility on them for keeping things.
