| Leader's Meeting Minutes 04/21/04 Those present�Brian, Kevin, Marcia, Frank, Myrle, Liz, Tom, Barb 1. The leaders application has changed. And you must use the new form or it will be sent back. There is a blank on it for your social security number on the front copy and it is blacked out on the second copy. This is due to the background check now instituted. Present scout leaders are grandfathered in. 2. Scout Show Topics- a. The only adults signed up for the socut show are Marcia, Kevin, Brian, & Barbara. b. Next Saturday (the 26th) is the Relay for Life yard sale. Brian will be camping out the night before watching the stuff. Any scout who wishes to camp with him may do so and work on assembling Scout show items. New scouts could work on tote n chip or perhaps fireman. 3. Summer Camp Items a. Merit Badge Choices must be in to Marcia by the Scout Show end. Scouts can bring it to the scout show if they need help to fill it out. b. The church van is signed out to Troop 7 for the summer camp week. c. Tom L. And John K. Will also drive to camp. d. Next week last camp payment due e. Resigning of health forms due next week at parents meeting f. Tom will call camp to find out if we can do swim test prior to camp. 4. Round table topics were Safe Swim and Safety Afloat 5. Scouts will be voting on whether to buy 1 man size or 2 man size tents. These will be purchased by the each scout and maintained by the scout. (At the meeting, they voted on 2 man tents.) |
