| Leader's Meeting March 13, 2003 Those attending-Tom L., John H., Neil C., Barb G., Myrle T., Liz M., Marcia D., Brian L., Kevin B., Frank M., John K. Current patrols need to redrawn to consolidate into 3 patrols or 2 patrols. Brian presented both options. It was decided to go with the following: 2 Patrols, 1 Senior patrol made up of officers, & 1 patrol of new scouts (See separate email to all) Please use the check out sheet. Brian has made a new one. It will be sent out as email (when I get it). Painting the trailer with a logo before scout show- 1. get some ideas of what to put on it, 2. ask the scouts for ideas, 3. adults try to find some place to have it done & cost, 4. needs to be put on the agenda for the parents meeting Events- 1. Camping Newport News Park this weekend- Brian in charge. 2. Rock Gym-church van has been signed up for; we have 28 bodies going, therefore John H. Will drive the van, Marcia will drive, Liz will drive, and Chris B. Will drive. Pizza will be ordered out of troop funds. May bring sleeping bags. There is a mezzanine with a TV/VCR, that will be a place to sleep, take pictures, etc. 3. York River Bike Hike-Neil will be Coordinator. Fund Raising needs to be discussed-It was decided to have another pot luck meeting to work on this specifically. It will be "a" Tuesday night we can get room in the church. Barb will take care arranging this. Liz will contact the church for its tax exempt number for tent purchasing. New position in scout leadership-Chaplain's Aide. We need new mentor's- Senior Patrol-John H. & Tom L. Goat Patrol-?? Moose Patrol-?? Cobra Patrol-Marcia D. & ? |
