Hawks Nest Cave

This impressive cave entrance is located on the western side of the Upper Ebbor Valley. The passage becomes too small after only eight metres, where a low opening enters from the surface on the right. It was dug about 1900, but the only finds were the bones of small mammals which had fallen into the cave from the predators nest on the cliff above the entrance (Hendy 2005).
