Ray's Reviews
Author's Biography

Raymond A. Smith is a dean of Northern Kentucky writers.  He has been a free-lance writer, poet and literary and movie critic for more than forty-five years.
He has been a financial executive and mortgage banker for more than forty years.  He is an experienced evening college teacher and lecturer, an established public speaker and a commissioned lay pastoral minister for the Roman Catholic diocese of Covington, Kentucky.
Ray holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Thomas More College, Crestview Hills, Kentucky, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ray became a movie fan at the age of seven.  His hobby became a part-time profession when the old "Boone County Recorder" of Florence, Kentucky began publishing his original "Reel Story" movie reviews more than twenty years ago.  That was followed by free-lance stints with two other Northern Kentucky publications, the former "News Enterprise" based in Ludlow, Kentucky and his parish’s former publication known as "The Voice".  He is a featured columnist for the "Messenger", the official newspaper of the diocese of Covington.
Now comes the Internet, which places "Ray’s Reviews" in the hands of the worldwide web.  We hope you like Ray’s slant on the cinema.  He writes in a comfortable way and his words have a relaxed, easy-to-read flavor.
Ray’s reviews are the friends of families.  They not only prepare parents for their trip to the movies, but they also provide fair warnings to help parents monitor and direct their children’s movie-going habits.
Ray’s reviews easily go further and do more.
      Read and enjoy.
