The reading on The War Game interested me in the British Broadcasting Company (BBC), especially when we discussed in-class about it being government driven versus advertiser driven.  We certainly do live in a democracy!  Check out this link to the “Producers’ Guidelines” for the BBC.  If we took on some of their ethical standards as a mass medium, maybe our crime rates and prejudicial issues wouldn’t be as intense…just a thought.
