STARFLEET COMMAND OPERATIONS
Region Administration - Section 47
1st Fleet Command
The First Fleet is assigned to provide Tactical and Scientific Support to 9 Sectors of Section 47 Space. The Sectors include 3 Federation Star Systems and 3 Non-aligned Independant ones. A large portion of the space is taken up by the Bertreka Nebula.

THE FLEET - BRIEFING
The Sectors administered by the First Fleet are essentially 'safe sectors'. Primary Tactical threats exist from the Talarian Republic to the 'west'. The Sectors are close to Klingon Space that means the risk of rogue houses are a possibility. Likewise the Bertreka Nebula has long been a site of contention for the Cardassians and Klingons.
Recent developments have seen the return of the Debrune to the Qualinost System. Essentially a neutral force this ancient race could prove a threat, they are highly advanced and are splintered in to two factions, the dominant one is currently in negotiations to co-colonise the planet Qualinost.
Qualinost System
Large system with a single star. The Bertreka Nebula stretches into the system and creates several navigation problems

Qualinost - Site of terraforming project to provide habitation for the soon to be refugee Tekaran race.
Planet Q - third planet in the system Federation planet and once home to scientist Thomas Leighton.

Ryan System
Non-descript system with a particularly mineral rich asteroid field.

Type 6 Star with frequent solar flares. 6 planets none Class M

Benecia Colony - Federation Colony on the 6th planet of the system. Networked Hab-domes.
Menkalinian System
Small system with some unusual gravimetric disturbances. Binary Star.

Tania Borealis System
Large system comprised of 9 class M-Planets

Essentially uninhabited system with 9 planets - 3 Gas Giants and 6 Rocky planets
