Eight Men Out

I worked on "Eight Men Out" in several scenes. In this one, I'm just behind actor Clifton James who plays the owner of the Chicago White Sox. To my left is another Yorktowner, Teddy Johnson.

In the White Sox press box as a sportswriter, just above the hat of the director, John Sayles. Actor/writer Studs Terkel is on the far right.

My dad used to play minor league baseball, so I encouraged him to try out for a part. He ended up playing a coach.
