General Body Meeting Minutes:

 

Meeting Date:  January 22, 2004

Location :  Arts Lecture Hall 208

Time:  5:30-7:30 pm

 

MINUTES:

 

1. Introduce SOS to new members- explain positions, responsibilities and history of SOS
2. Available Positions are:  Treasurer, Fundraiser and Web Designer

Elections for available positions, voting

Note: We will be holding exec elections in mid-March for the Fall term.

3. Charity Ball, (if anyone is interested in volunteering their time please email us, you can help with things like food, decorations and selling tickets).  All proceeds go towards the Hospital For Sick Kids.
4. Volunteer opportunities:  There are two camps for cancer patients that are recruiting volunteers for the summer, if interested visit :  [email protected] and www.ooch.org, note that applications for camp ooch are due by Feb.17 so there isn’t much time
5. Smiles Campaign week:  Some ideas we thought of are selling Krispy Kreme donuts, selling flowers (any other ideas to raise money are welcome)
