ODE TO A JEALOUS LOVER


With great reluctance....

I remove myself from...what

Was once a happy union.

I care....no longer....for the

Beating heart that vibrates....

From..jealous..rages which....

Have...... no breath!

Do not wish me ill...

I have none for you.

I understand the jealousy that lives

Within your heart

That...was...so true.

Another time reserved...perhaps...

Once again lost...this time forever stolen

Loveless rages and slings and arrows

Yes perhaps another time....

For us to love again,

The deceptions you hate

Cling so desperately and live

If only in your inner life

The effects...a sore heart...yours

My conscience clear i have been true

Again...the endless stories...lies...

You want to live so...desperately

So you can prove my unfaithfulness

Will never crystallize

My heart has been true..to you

I remove myself

Your word no more

To tell me who i love

When I have loved you faithfully

Your jealous mind

Loveless now,draining your own love
