| May 9, 2006 Title - Farewell, for Now 'til Then! I have watched you cry Many times I was by your side Giving you strength to endure And a future to believe You may have not been so nice to me Or realized how helpful my heart could be Holding you so tight Giving you a guiding hand We both put up a fight That tore us apart We now stand on different sides Chasing two seperate lives I hope one day we can forgive and forget And live in sight as friends I know my heart is broken and filled with pain But I reckon you did not realize What you were doing could be so bad We loved each other too much Who knew that could be so destructible I may only remember the bad more often than not There may have been some good But too little wasn't enough It may take me longer to move on from you You seem to be happy with your life anew I wish you well With a new love you have found Be kind and sweet And remember to never be the guy you was I hope to one day be able to love again It might take some time But don't worry I'll be fine This poem has come to an end I bid you farewell, for now 'til then! |
