| How we play: Everyone puts in $10, sign in, have a cocktail, eat...... We have 3 card tables with 3 dice & four people to a table. Players sitting across from one another are partners. You usually don't have the same partner twice. There is the head table, the middle table, and the loser table. There are six rounds in a set. In each round players are trying to roll the same # as the round. The head table controls the pace of the game, and signals the start and end of each round by ringing the bell.. Each player keeps track of her own score. Say you are rolling for threes. Two out of the three dice are three's, this gives you 2 points, for each die that is the # you are rolling for it gives you one point. If you roll 3 of a kind this is a BUNKO! A Bunko is worth 21 points. When you get a Bunko shout it out, and you get to hold on to the traveling fuzzy dice. The last person at the end of the game with the fuzzy dice wins fourth place. Three of a kind of the # not currently up is worth 5 points. One player at the head table is the scorekeeper for that table, using the table tally to determine the # of points.. When the head table either rolls a bunko or reaches 21 points they will signal the end the round. If there is in any case a tie we have a roll off. The players who win move to a higher table. Players who loose move to a lower table. Of course if a player is already at the head table, or the loser table they can not move up more or down any more. When the next set starts players who were partners for the previous game are not partners for the next. Then we break for dessert, and start again...... |
