When George was a small boy he and his sister appeared on his Dad's talk show, where they would dance and sing and he also did various commercials as a young boy.
The family moved around alot living from one extreme to another, although his family life was a happy one.
George decided that he no longer wished to get into the same field as his Father and attended Northern Kentucky University, he remained a freshman for three years doing all the normal stuff that freshman's do.
George was given a small part by his Cousin, Miguel Ferrer in a movie which also starred his Aunt Rosemary about Horse Racing.
It was from that moment onwards that George decided that he wanted to become an actor. At the age of Twenty One he set out for Hollywood with only 300 dollars in his pocket. He stayed with his Aunt Rosemary for around one year and then moved in with his friend Tom Matthew's.
He was in a short-lived comedy called E/R (funny right!!) which only ran for a year before being axed. He also co-starred in a movie with Charlie Sheen which was never released and various other doomed Television series such as 'Bodies of Evidence', 'Baby Talk' and 'Sunset Beat'.
Then came his starring in the B-movies Return Of The Killer Tomatoes and Return Of Horror High. He got turned down for various parts in such films as Thelma and Louise and the Breakfast Club and even turned down Quentin Tarrantino for the movie Reservoir Dogs.
He had a couple of other offers in the pipeline and decided to go with an NBC drama called ER. Claiming his role of Doug Ross.
He has not looked back since starring in movies such as One Fine Day with Michelle Pfeiffer, From Dusk ''Til Dawn and Out Of Sight. To list just a few.
George loves to play basketball and can be found at the Warner Brothers studio's doing just this on a frequent basis in-between filming. His birthday is May 6. |
