-First Trip: Our first trip was to great grandma
and grandpa's house. They live out in the Hamptons, a 2 hr drive away.
So, we drove there when Nicky was about 6 months, and he was as well
behaved as his brother. He loved the fresh air out there, and just
napped a lot!
-First Hair: Again, Daddy and I tried to give Nicky a trim, but we
weren't too good at it. We did better with Nicky than we did with
C.J. though! After that first catastrophe, we just gave up and let
the professionals do it. We saved his hair in an envelope.
-First Birthday: Nicky's first birthday was the same as C.J.'s The
theme was teddy bears, even on the cake. He got a lot of clothing
and some ride on toys. He absolutely loved having all of the attention
on him and his brother. He's such a little ham!
-First Christmas: Nicky was 10 months old for his first Christmas.
He got a lot of clothing, and some smaller toys. He wore the same
outfit as C.J. A white set of pj's with candy canes and red bows all
over it. It had a hat with a red puff at the end. He LOVED Christmas.
He was in just as much shock when he saw all of the presents that
were for them as C.J. was. We haven't started any new traditions,
but will more than likely, when we aren't going to other peoples'
houses for xmas!
-Baby Nursery: Nicky's nursery theme was teddy bears. I got all of
the furniture and bedding at Nippe's, and the decorations Nana found
somewhere. We picked teddy bears for Nicky because it was the other
set that I liked, and I wanted them to have different stuff to sleep
in. :o)

Labor

How long?: 6 weeks
Doctor: I had 7 of them, due to a complicated pregnancy.
Support Person: My dh, Chris (at least, back then)
Drugs: spinal anesthesia for my c-section
Special Conditions?: I was a high risk pregnancy because Nicholas was
33% smaller than C.J. and it would've caused me to miscarry if I weren't
watched closely.
Favorites
Food: Cheesy hotdogs and Macaroni & Cheese
Toy: A little push toy at Nana's house. It plays music when you push
it as you're walking
Games: "Kid-Eating Monster". I pretend to be a monster and
growl at him, then pretend to eat his fingers, hands, and arms.
Story: He doesn't like to sit still long enough to be read to.
Song: He likes all music and dances to everything. Even commercials!
Relatives: Nicky loves EVERYONE. He's a real socialite. Always talking
to everyone, asking everyone to pick him up
