| Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority Inc. was found in 1986 at Sacramento State University. Beta Chapter was founded in 1989 at the University of California Davis. Lambda Sigma Gamma was founded on the basis of multiculturalism. Multicultralism is not just a word to describe how people look but also the aspects of personality, cullture and bringing people of different backgrounds together with a common cause. Our national phillanthropy is the National Head Start program. Head Start heads programs for low income children as well as their familes.
