Sequence
Your First Session:
Before my clinic evaluation, we will have the opportunity to know each other
and discuss your past experience wearing dentures and any other appropriated
topic needed to provide a better service.
In some cases it will be necessary to start by making study models to define
what type of prothesis and what design would be required according to your
particular needs
After a conscious analysis you will be presented a treatment plan for discussion
and approval. Immediately after, our Administrative Assistant will explain
you cost of treatment and payment modes.
If you have a dental plan, our Administrative Assistant will require from
you your personal information and the pertinent Insurance documents to process
your Insurance Claim.
1st Treatment appointment:
Preliminary impressions are taken to obtain stone models in order to discuss
with the patient the details of his or her particular case.
2nd appointment:
Final impressions are taken to obtain a more accurate stone model to fabricate
the metal frame for the partial denture.
3rd appointment:
Try in of metal frame and bite registration
4th
appointment:
Try in of teeth in wax if it was not done at previous appointment
5th appointment:
Insertion day, on this day we deliver your new prothesis, you will receive
plenty and written instructions on how to use and keep your prothesis and
remaing natural teeth in optimal conditions. This information will help you
to avoid unnecessary discomfort and to get long lasting results.
Post insertion care:
The cost of your prothesis includes adjustments and care during the 4 weeks
after insertion of your new prothesis.
Permanent Maintance:
It is necessary to visit us at least once a year to get a professional cleaning
and small adjustments as required.
Every Two Years:
A reline and small adjustments would be required to keep your prothesis in
optimal condition.
Every 5 Years:
New prothesis will be required to avoid damage in your gums, bone and remaining
natural teeth
Comparing
Fees with other options
Compared with other options, removable partial dentures are the most economic
solution for partially edentulous patients. Your other options, if you are
a suitable candidate, are implants and fix bridges. For these mentioned options,
you would be referred to Dr.J.Garcia who practices general Dentistry in the
same premises or any other Dental specialist as required.
