| What happened to her after she returned to her time? This is never revealed in the manga. Naoko Takeuchi once said in an interview that it was highly unlikely that she would continue the Sailor Moon manga we may never know. We can only guess what happened. If Cosmos really is Usagi, how can they both coexist in the same time? When Usagi was in the future Crystal Tokyo it is revealed that two forms of the same person can not cannot live int he same time together. But there are a few reasons why they could: 1) Naoko Takeuchi forgot that she had said two forms of the same person can not exist together in the same time. 2) Sailor Cosmos is so powerful that she can transform herself into a child that maybe she has enough power to coexist with herself at the same time. 3) Sailor Cosmos is a reincarnation of Sailor Moon, kind of like Usagi is a reincarnation of Princess Selenity of the past. 4) Usagi sacrifised herself when she went into the cauldron. Chibi Chibi did not show that she was truly Sailor Comos (she was able to survive as Chibi Chibi with Usagi since they in essence were two DIFFERENT people who happened to have the same thoughts and soul, but had two different bodies) until Usagi sacrificed herself. |
