This is the Library (I'm capitalizing on purpose), where I work. I wanted to explain a little more about my job at the Library, or more precisely, why I work there instead of somewhere else. My first job was at the pharmacy here in town. It was nice, and I got huge Christmas bonuses, but I was bored. Oh, sometimes it was interesting. I watched a woman drag her three-year-old out of the store, saying, "Come on, shithead." People would come in and buy stupid things like, say, a box of Trojans and a bag of jelly orange slices. Or a pregnancy test and a pack of Marlboros. One day I was falling asleep at the register and a woman came in and said to me, "Do you have opium?" "What?" I said, opening both eyes and staring at her in confusion. "Opium. The perfume." Eventually I got a job here at la bibliotheque, where I still deal with strange people, but at least they're literate. |

| The 1998 Marching 110 Drumline. I'm the short one on the right. In Athens there's a wall used expressly for graffiti. We painted it the night before this picture was taken. I didn't take it; some professional did. If I knew who he was, I would give him credit for it. A note: the building you see behind us in this photo is Bentley Hall, the history building. The head honchos here at OU are talking about tearing down the graffiti wall, which has been here since the beginning of time, to expand Bentley. It really sucks. Of course, then all we're going to do is paint the backside of Bentley. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| This is me at the beginning of 2001. At about 10 p.m. on a cold January night, my neighbor, Linda, called my house to say she was going to get some kittens that her niece was trying to give away. So at 10:00 that night, we (Linda, my mom, and I) drove to Bloomingburg to get kittens. This photo was taken that night at Linda's house. Don't Sadie (top) and Fritz (bottom) look right at home already? In the background you can see a miniature of Linda's house that her father, who is in his late eighties, made. (Linda's a bit older than I; I won't tell you how much!) It's perfect, to scale and everything as far as I can tell. |

| Okay, so this is one of the most idiotic pictures of me ever taken. But it's a recent one. My boyfriend Spencer took this with his new-fangled digital camera around February 2002. That's my infamous stuffed kitty Fuzzy. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
