
The Family Investment Center is located at 120 Emmons street, Schenectady, New York 12304, just off of Henry street and between Albany and Watt streets.
The FIC houses several agencies that work as a team to bring federally assisted housing residents in the City of Schenectady opportunities for learning as well as career advancement. The FIC was created to enhance family life bring about a condition of economic self sufficiency.
Paul Feldman, Family Investment Center Coordinator. Paul is responsible for the program development and acts as liaison between the Schenectady Municipal Housing Authority and the agencies housed at the FIC. He provides assistance to residents with starting and operating their own business, helps with creating a business plan and securing financing, locating jobs that match resident skill levels and interests, as well as linking residents to training opportunities.
