"Removing Transportation barriers to employment"
| CDTA Swiper Cards |
The swiper card is a 90 day program designed to provide transportation to residents seeking a job and or for newly employed residents to help them "get on their feet" so to speak after finding a job and not having to worry about the transportation expense for the first couple of months.
| Driving Lessons |
The driving program is designed to help residents who do not have a drivers license to acquire one which in turn makes them much more marketable in terms of employment opportunities. The program provides lessons, the 5 hour required certification course, and the scheduling and use of vehicle for the actual road test. Driving lessons only available to resident who are already employed. An application must be completed at the Family Investment Center.
