Dark Ages Clothing
- linktext
- Wrap-around apron dress - green herringbone wool
- Viking coat - grey herringbone wool, trimmed with burgundy key pattern silk
- Experimental rectangular construction trousers (from memory vaguely inspired by the Damendorf trousers) - pink wool check
- Generic rectangular construction undertunics - only linen or ramie so far
And there are plans (and in some cases fabric) for:
- Yellow wool (2/2 twill, good thread count) tunic, with blue silk and silver thread brocaded tablet weaving wrist decoration
- Thorsberg trousers - because I'm quite interested in seeing how well they go together
- Viborg shirt - likewise. Don't rate my chances of finding perfect fabric very highly, closest I've got is a cotton-linen blend, which is about the right thread count in one direction (can't remember which - probably warp)
I think the rest of my plans involve dyeing, at very least, so will probably depend what colours I find easiest to get working well
