Title: Moon Trilogy-Book One Chapter: Seven Rating: PG, like the rest of the story :) “So, let me get this. I was the King of the Sun in the Silver Millennium, and Katherine was my wife. She is destined to be Sailor Solar. She IS Sailor Solar. Is that about right?” Luna nodded. Michael rubbed his eyes. “And because I didn’t know, Katherine is now in the hands of the Black Moon Family. Right?” “It wasn’t your fault buddy. It could have happened to anybody.” Darien said, trying to lend a sympathetic hand to his friend. He pulled his arm out to rub his back, but he back away. “No! It couldn’t!! It was my job to defend Katherine just as it is for you to defend Serena!” At this point, he was out of the booth, and standing in front of Serena, Darien, and Luna, pointing a finger. He backed away, putting a hand on his head. “If I had only listened to her earlier. This never could have happened.” “Michael, the same thing could have happened to Serena. The Negaverse has they’re way of attacking us. Katherine was their obvious target. Don’t blame yourself.” Darien said. Michael swiped his hands through his blonde hair, that was very noticeably turning brown. “So what can we do?” “Only one thing we can do,” Luna whispered, jumping off the table. “we have to give you the Luna Mind-melt.” “Will it be noticeable to anybody else?” he asked, sitting back down on the table, so he was face to face with Luna. “No, only to you.” He looked into her eyes, and got ready. “Hold on a second.” Michael and Luna looked at Serena. “Didn’t you say he didn’t need the Luna-Mind-melt?” Luna shrugged. “He didn’t need it to regain ALL of his memory, just some.” Serena sagged her shoulders, and drooped her head. “What?” Luna asked, before mind-melting Michael. Katherine woke up with a tremendous headache. She tried to take a breath to smell the place she was in, and found her lungs were still filled with the water. Her eyes popped open and she squeezed her lungs, trying to get the water out. She was successful, and spat out the water, and breathed in air that she hadn’t had in her lungs for who knows how long. She leaned her head back, and thumped her head against a cement wall. She turned her head to see where she was, and found her hands where chained to the wall, up to about her head. Panicking, she tried to move her legs, and found that they had been bound too. She looked around, trying to find anything that would tell her where she was. Nothing did, and she was about to worry when an eerie voice filled her ears. “Welcome Sailor Solar. Katherine James. Commander Adrian Williams.” So, she did the only thing she thought she could do. “I don’t know what you are talking about.” She played stupid. “Oh, really? Don’t try those kinds of games with me Solar. They only get you killed.” And in front of her, came a man, near the age of twenty-three (or that was how he looked to her anyway), who smiled at her evilly. “I would kill you right now, but Wiseman has something else in mind. A perfect plan of brain washing would be good, or so he says, but I think there could be another objective.” “And that would be?” Katherine spat. “Use you.” Her eyes bugged open. “Use you in any way I wanted to. But, if I where to do that, I would be killed.” “So what’s stopping you?” He looked up at her, and pointed a finger at the middle of her head. She felt something being ripped from her mind, like a memory, or a feeling. And when he removed his hand, she looked at him in confusion. “I just stole part of your memory, Sailor Solar.” Katherine partially squinted her eyes. “What? I’m not Sailor Solar. What are you talking about?” Amatite rubbed his hands together. “And now, the fun begins.” Wiseman stared at the crystal ball in front of him, looking at the planet that as to be attacked. His ball showed him Crystal Tokyo, and the whole peacefulness that it all showed was making him sick. His covered head turned to Diamond, who was standing beside him, looking over his shoulder. “And this is what we are going to destroy. Years of planning and building only to lead to mass destruction. And all of this will be ours, ruling it the way it was meant to be ruled.” Diamond sighed. “It seems as though you are waiting for something, though. As if your perfect plan is getting some distractions.” “Your brother would be one of them.” “Amatite?” Diamond turned around. “What about him?” “Didn’t you notice that he disobeyed you? Going against your directions that you specifically put down for him to follow? Because of that, we where late on capturing the warrior.” “No, we weren’t late. We only gave ourselves more time. He captured her three weeks in advance. Now we have three times as much time to train her.” “Yes, but your majesty,” Wiseman protested, “he disobeyed you! And that was...” “That was to our advantage!!” Diamond yelled, turning around to face Wiseman, and pointing a finger at him. “Not only did he disobey my order, he made up for it by giving us more time to think and train her! To tell the truth, I think you were trying to get him in trouble.” “What?” Wiseman said, his hands the only thing to tell from his expressions that he was shocked. “I would never do a thing like that! Believe me, your majesty, you presume too much.” Diamond sneered, and pushed some light purple, almost white, hair out of his purple-ish eyes. “We will see who presumes too much.” And he turned around, his purple cape lightly flying with him. “Computer,” Amatite said, “send us on a course for the future. I need to deliver something to Prince Diamond.” He looked at the screen, his light brown eyes moving back and fourth over the different words, patterns and numbers that flashed in front of him. His hands went from his sides to his face as he rubbed it in a tired motion. He sighed loudly, and turned around, looking at the Commander that was currently unconscious for the ride to the future. He smiled at his choice for clothing, a complete black outfit with a perfect, long trench coat for hiding weapons and the sword of the Black Moon family that she would be caring around. She had already had her brainwashing. She would be given a new memory, only knowing herself as Commander Adrian Williams, though he was a little nervous about the last name. It could mean she could remember even faster when she met up with that Michael guy. But she would train for fifteen hours each day, only getting an hour to rest, eight hours of sleep. At least, that was what he got when he was training. A small sound came from his computer, and he turned to it, and read the message, telling him that they where in the future. A smile came to his lips, and he looked out the small window to the ship similar to his, only bigger, because it was something that belonged to Diamond. He crossed his arms as his ship neared Diamonds. “Computer,” the computer bleeped, telling him it was listening. “prepare our guest to board Diamonds ship. She has had a long day.” *6 months later* A young man ran with as much strength that was left in him, breathing hard, and sweating. Something flew right in front of him, and smacked him in the jaw, sending him back to the floor near the wall. He looked at the figure that had just hit him, and trembled, cowering back to the wall leaning his back against it. The figure pulled out a long sword, suitable for her height and weight. She pulled back the sword and... “Commander, don’t kill him. You still need him later on, remember.” Commander Adrian Williams of the Black Moon Family’s eyes glowed. “But in a real life combat, a person wouldn’t be spared.” The Wiseman thought for a second, then nodded. “You’re right. Kill him.” And the man screamed, so loud that was the last thing heard in the room besides breathing. “Six months,” Michael said, propping his elbows up on a table. “Six months and we haven’t heard a word from her. Six months and not a single attack. Six months since a brown eyed, brown haired woman walked into this arcade and made my life a little better.” Michael looked up at the seat before him, that was empty, and sighed. She always sat here. Everyday when he came into the arcade she was always here talking with the other Scouts and drinking some water, insisting on plotting some way to dispose of him. He laughed at the memory of her growling at him, trying to make him afraid of her, like she had everybody else. He had thought that she had started to actually think of them as friends before she was captured by the Black Moon Family. And that was when he got strange powers. He couldn’t really describe it that well, but when Luna ‘refreshed’ his memory, he was able to make some sort of fireball. Nothing very powerful. Only something that would be like Tuxedo Masks’ roses. Something like a distraction. It was all so weird for him. He still didn’t know what to say when he remembered that he was the King of the Sun. And with that thought, came another question. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, the Moon and the Earth were all planets. So why did he and Katherine rule a star? The quick shut of the door turned his attention to who had opened it, distracting him from his thoughts. Darien stood there, taking his gloves off and putting his collar down, and rubbing his face to get the snow off. He looked at Michael, and gave a breath of relief . “Michael! I have been looking everywhere for you! We have a situation. Something big is happening!” “What is your wish, Prince Diamond?” Adrian asked, kneeling before the throne. Diamond sat there, hand on his head, while the other was holding a fairly large wine goblet. He turned to Wiseman, who gave him a nod. “You have been granted a mission, Commander. One that is of great importance to my people. Do you accept?” “In my presence you should consider it done.” Adrian finished, standing up and throwing her black cape behind her, revealing her sword that was on her back. “I’m highly capable of finishing any mission I accept.” “So I’ve heard.” Diamond said, sighing. “The reports I have been getting from Wiseman have been very intriguing. So you have destroyed every General, every Admiral that has fought against you? And training for fifteen hours, no less. It seems as though you could be our strongest warrior.” “I have trained her to be the best, your majesty. There is no other person in our army like her.” Wiseman said. “Then in that case, the mission I’m giving you is going to be one of the most difficult I have ever given.” He put down his wine glass and leaned forward. “I want you to destroy the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask, but leave Sailor Moon for me. I have no cares as for what you do with the others. If this is a mission you can fulfil, you will be granted high honor in the Kingdom we will have if you succeed. I want no failures from you, Adrian. Take as long as you need to do the mission, but remember your objective.” “It shall be done, Prince Diamond.” He waved his hand to dismiss her, and she walked down the carpeted length of the room, stopping when her keen ears heard a guard whispering, “Diamond chose a woman for the job? He must want to get rid of her quickly. Must be really weak too.” Her eyes flashed red. “Prince Diamond, would you like an example of my power to add some more trust in me?” Diamond leaned back in his chair and folded his hands. “Why not? Go ahead.” Her eyes flashed again, and she felt Dark Crystal power rising within her, part of it was put in her by Wiseman when she first started her training. She grabbed the soldier that had made the remark, and threw him across the room so hard, he landed against the wall, creating an imprint. Without even looking at him, she used the power of the crystal and lifted him up, smashing him against another wall until he was near death. Then, she put him in front of her, and she looked at him coldly. “That was for the remark.” she whispered and punched the man in the face. He fell before her dead. “Thank you, your majesty.” she said, and walked out the door.
