Title: Moon Trilogy-Book one Chapter: Four E-mail: gundamzerosix@hotmail.com Time Period: This is the day after they found out about their pasts. In other words, this is on the day they defeated Malachite. Some parts of the ending are made by my imagination, so if I get something wrong from the show, you now know why. Also, for those of you who were boggled by this, I’m going over the episodes so you can get used to Katherine being a Sailor Scout. It will get exciting. Trust me. This was an attack plan the Sailor Scouts had not intended. One they found out Luna and Artemis where got to the Arctic, the first thing they thought was to bring some nice warm clothes. But that would get in the way of their attacks, so they thought otherwise. So they stood shivering in their boots, or high heels, as Sailor Mercury analyzed their situation. “So what have you got Mercury?” Jupiter asked, walking over her shoulder to see her computer. “Well, I’ve got a strong negative energy reading due east, so I think we shout head that way.” She pointed to a collection of large peaks pointing out of the snow, and the team sighed. “Your computer had better be right Mercury, or I’m gonna freeze in this one spot.” Solar said, walking to the location Mercury had pointed out. Five minuets later, the Scouts stopped dead in their tracks. Hanging above them, bruised and beaten, not to mention bleeding, was Tuxedo Mask. “Oh yeah, they are going to make us believe that they would beat their strongest warrior. We aren’t that dumb.” Venus said. But Sailor Moon didn’t hear her. “Tuxedo Mask!” she cried, running to her beaten friend. “Hold it Sailor Moon,” Mercury said, opening her computer again “this isn’t the real Tuxedo Mask! It’s a decoy!!” The face of their friend looked at them, and grinned evilly, his eyes turning red. Something moved inside his tuxedo jacket, and a green arm extended at Sailor Moon. But Jupiter was there first. She stood in front of Sailor Moon just as the arm came at her, and six arms soon came after. They grasped hold of her neck, inching her closer to death. But they never knew what Jupiter had in store. “Jupiter!” the team screamed in unison. “Get Sailor Moon out of here! I’ll take care of these guys.” They watched in horror as Jupiter fired her thunder attack. It went from every one of the female monsters, to her again. Before they knew it, they heard a voice that said, “You can do it Sailor Scouts. I know you can!” The voice belonged to Lita. “We have to go back and get her!” Sailor Moon was saying a little bit later, as they ran farther away from the place where they lost Lita. “We can’t Sailor Moon! She’s gone!” Mars yelled, nearly screaming in her face. “You’ve got to face that!” Venus sighed. “Poor Lita.” “What are we going to do Mercury? We just lost Jupiter.” Solar said, shivering, and rubbing her gloved hands up and down her bare arms. Venus looked at Sailor Moon. “Well, we had better go check...SERENA!! Watch it!” In a blur, Venus pushed Sailor Moon away from a small hole that started to appear. She stood in her place, and fell. A voice behind her saying, “I know you can do it!” “A hole?? They make Jupiter zap herself and Venus falls in a hole??” Solar said, raising an eyebrow at the black pit in front of her. Suddenly, an explosion happened in the pit, and the Scouts were knocked off their feet, looking at the hole that faded away. “Venus...” Mars mumbled. “What’s with this place?” Sailor Moon said, looking at the freezing palace they were in. “We are in their territory now. Under their complete control. We have no where to run.” Mercury said in a low whisper. “I just hope Luna and Artemis find something soon.” “Hey, who’s there?” Solar said out of no where. She pointed at a figure hanging from some wires wrapped around the wrists and ankles. “Chad?” Mars asked, stepping a little closer. She stopped when she got less than six feet away from him. She knew this was a trap. And she was ready to accept her fate. The body soon disappeared and Sailor Mars looked at Mercury, Moon and Solar. “Get her out of here!” she yelled quickly, and screamed as a pile of snow caved over her, and voices where heard inside. “MARS!” Sailor Moon yelled, extending her arms as if crying for her would bring her back. “You want a piece of me? You’ve got it! MARS FIRE IGNITE!!” “I can’t believe this. This is insane!!” Solar said, running from the path that lead them to the death of Sailor Mars. “We can’t let them get Sailor Moon.” Mercury whispered to Solar when they stopped. Serena was close by, sobbing by the death of her friend. “And how do you suggest that we do that? They’ve gotten everybody else!” “We have to be careful on what we do. I think that’s a Greg decoy....” her voice trailed off. Sailor Solar looked at where she was looking. A beaten decoy of Greg was in front of them. “Do the bubbles.” Solar whispered. Mercury nodded her head. “MERCURY BUBBLES....BLAST!” The decoy melted away, and two of the remaining monsters sneered at the Scouts. “Do your cannon.” “It’ll need to charge.” Mercury sighed. “It’s our only choice.” “SOLAR DEATH CANNON CHARGE!” Sailor Mercury, Solar and Moon, dodged different attacks from these two creatures. The Six of Might, as they were known, were having a good time tiring the Scouts. But where was the sixth warrior? With help from the Mercury Bubbles and the Solar Death Cannon, the Moon Tiara was able to destroy the two in front of them, turning the warriors into ashes. “That was way too easy.” Solar mumbled. Perhaps too soon. For as soon as she said that, the sixth warrior shot out from the ground and took a hold of Sailor Mercury, creating a large covering, similar to the one that killed Sailor Mars. “Mercury!” Sailor Moon and Solar yelled at the same time. They soon blocked their vision and ran, as the heroic voice of Amy was heard through a small hole. “Good luck you two.” “THIS ISN’T HAPPENING!!” Solar screamed at herself, then looked at the sky. “WHY?? HUH??!! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS??? YOU WANT A PIECE OF US?? HUH!!?? COME AND GET IT!! I’M WAITING!!” “And I’m here.” Solar whipped around saw the Sixth Warrior floating above her. “If you want a fight, I’ll be happy to give one to you.” The ground beneath Sailor Moon rumbled, and Solar pushed her out of the way before she was pushed into the air by a large pillar of snow and ice. It froze on her up to her waist, and she had a tremendous headache after the ride was finished. She rubbed her head, and looked forward, and, startled, jerked her head back. The Sixth Warrior was in front of her, smiling evilly. It didn’t help much that she had black lipstick on. Or the fact that her outfit was ver revealing. But this was the Negaverse. Was anything with them modest? Instantly, her hand went around Sailor Solar’s throat, and squeezed mercilessly. “I will give you a fight, but it won’t be fair.” “Run...Sailor Moon...don’t worry about me...” Solar slightly yelled, her face turning red. But Sailor Moon was frozen in her tracks, watching as Katherine pulled back her arm, and hit the Warrior square in the face. She had enough time to yell “Solar Death Cannon charge.” before the Warriors hand clasped over her neck again. For thirty second they were like that, before Solar whispered “Die...” and used her attack, hitting the Warrior between the eyes. The beam from the Cannon traveled down the warriors body, and up her arm, hitting Solar and getting the same affect. Before she knew it, Sailor Moon saw her face, and heard her words. “Get Darien back. You can do it Sailor Moon!” With all the fear, strength and energy that was in her, Sailor Moon ran. She was the last remaining Scout, and tried to hide from the Negaverse as much as possible. She was jumping over a snow shaft right when she fell through a hole. And when she came to, she found herself in a large room, surrounded by en evil, demonic feeling. “So this is the great warrior in the flesh.” Sailor Moon lifted her eyes to see the hideous Queen Beryl, standing before her with some kind of staff in her hand. The other half of her body was covered by a shadow, and for this Sailor Moon didn’t know why. She stood to her feet, and held her head as she did so. “And who might you be?” Queen Beryl smiled. “I am Queen Beryl, ruler of the Negaverse. And this is my strongest warrior. I’m sure you know him.” And the shadow move, revealing Prince Endymion, kneeling in front of Beryl, and kissing her hand. Sailor Moon flinched slightly, her heart boiling with an undeniable hatred, but at the same time, and immense amount of love and protection, saying only that she now had hope of getting him back. He stood and looked at her evilly. Pulling out his sword, he lunged to her, thrusting his sword ahead of him, hoping to hit her. But he missed her. And swung again, but was upset when he found a small tear in her uniform. Still no bloodshed. “Why are you running?” He asked her when she came in view. “I thought you were supposed to be a great warrior. I only find a fear-filled person. If you really are Sailor Moon, I suggest you show me.” He finished the last part of the sentence in a grunt, because he swung his sword at her then. “I won’t hurt you, Darien.” she said, just as another blow came for her. “Stop calling me that!! I don’t know who this Darien guy is!” “But you do! They’ve lied to you this whole time! C’mon Darien! I know you can remember if you just try!” She then screamed as a blow nicked her across the cheek, and the swiftness of it all sent her to her feet. He didn’t know why he felt like running to her and seeing if she was alright. Something inside him just said to do so. Ignoring it, he was about to deliver a blow, when something hit him in the stomach. Not something that would rip him in two, but something that numbed him. He stood in shock before he realized that she had hit him with her Moon Tiara. He was in shock for a moment, eyes bugging out of his head, and his body trembling. His weight gave out, and he tumbled to the ground, the Tiara slowing down, before it came to a halt and fell with a clank on the floor. Sailor Moon, tears flowing freely down her cheeks, looked over at him from her kneeled position on the floor. His eyes were open, and for a moment she thought she saw tears in his eyes, when his eyes shot open, slightly going black, and he stood up with the help of his sword. “You will die...” he said softly, so only she could hear. “No, Darien. I don’t believe you. I know that you are in there somewhere.” “You are the enemy...” he said, trying to convince himself. Yet some part said to believe her.... “Your wrong, Darien. Remember this?” she asked pulling out her Star Locket. The lid opened, and the tune was the only sound, besides Sailor Moon’s crying and Prince Endymions heavy breathing. He raised his sword above his head, and tried to bring it down on her, but his arms wouldn’t move. “This is our locket. A symbol of all that we shared. Please say you remember??” Slowly, his sword came to rest at his side, his glassy eyes turning to his normal cerulean blue. “I...remember...” Suddenly, she felt her heart go light. Tears of joy ran down her cheeks, hitting the ground with soft pats. “All you have to do is touch it...” And in one slight motion, he touched the bridge of the locket, arching himself back as the memories flooded into his head. He dropped his sword, hitting the hard floor with a clank. He never remembered if a rose, a pure red rose, not a black one, had ever fallen from somewhere in his uniform. All he knew was that he remembered everything. From his constant calling of ‘Meatball Head’, to finding out Serena was the Moon Princess, to his own memories of the girl in front of him, that was his one true love. Hit with the realization of it all, he fell to his knees, his hands resting on them for his support. Sailor Moon, carefully put a gloved hand on his shoulder. “Darien?” He looked at her, a smile on his face and his eyes filled with love. “I’m free Serena. Thank you...” “I know Darien.” She said, holding his head. She let her tears fall into his damp hair, wrapping her arms around his head. He responded, by lifting himself up, and hugging her, so that her head rested on his chest. He kissed the top of her head, and stroked one arm over her back, trying to comfort her, and at the same time, lose the memories of him trying to kill her. On the other side of the room, Queen Beryl was enraged. She formed a crystal in her hand, and growled, silently jolting the crystal forward with her magic, and a smile dawned on her face at the realization that they both would be dead. But Darien heard it first. Reacting instantly, he pulled out a rose and threw it at the crystal, lunging to Sailor Moon, and landing on the ground with her under him. The rose shattered the crystal and went on, to hit Beryl in the dead center of her chest. She screamed and grabbed the rose, looking for a moment as he shattered crystal hit the two on the floor, knocking themselves flat against Darien’s back, giving him some grunts and groans. She then fell to her knees, and sank through the floor. “Darien! Are you alright?” Sailor Moon asked, whispering it because her lips were right next to his ear. “Yeah,” he said with a grunt. One of his hands went to the right side of his back, and his eyes rose as he felt something. “But I think one of the shards got me.” He grabbed it with his hand and pulled it out, falling to his back, and looked at the shard that was only half the size of his hand. Sailor Moon saw it too, and went over to him, holding a small part of his back, and pressed a small part of her gloved hand over his wound to stop the bleeding. He groaned a little, then looked at her to show her he was ok. “I’ll find a way back to you. I promise.” She smiled back. “You can even call me ‘Meatball Head’ again.” They laughed, and Darien closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again. “Beryl will find a way to get stronger in this last attack. Gonna have to watch it, Meatball Head.” Her smile widened. “Be careful on getting out Darien.” He smiled again. “Hey, I’m Tuxedo Mask. Remember? I can do the impossible.” The powers of the Negaverse had joined together, and all formed into Queen Beryl. She was now a good hundred feet tall, with icy blue hair and an attitude of death. She looked around at her surroundings, and grinned evilly. “Now the power of the Negaforce will come upon this Earth, and turn it into a giant ball of ice!!” “Not as long as I’m alive.” Beryl turned around and sneered at the young girl walking toward her. “I’m Sailor Moon. And in the name of the Moon, I will destroy you, Beryl.” “Try and stop me.” Then Beryl shot out a beam at her, that hit her square center, and caused a giant peak of ice to shoot out of the ground. But then something remarkable happened, causing Queen Beryl to become afraid. Princess Serenity stood there, Moon Wand in hand, and eyes closed. “I underestimated you before, Sailor Moon. A mistake I won’t make again.” Queen Beryl extended her arms, a blazing sign of Black Magic surging through her, and fired them at Princess Serenity. And at the same time, a wave of energy came over Princess Serenity, as she rose her Moon Wand above her head, and screamed, “Cosmic Moon Power!!” A fierce battle had begun then. A battle where good and evil clashed against each other in a terrifying appearance. The beams from the two warriors struck each other in a almost horrifying appearance, causing disturbances in the atmosphere. If seen from a distance, it would have looked like a piece of the Northern Lights, if the future of the Earth wasn’t in stake. Serenity looked at the power of the crystal, terror stricken when she saw that she wasn’t winning. She knew what she needed to do. “{Sailor Scouts. I can’t win this battle alone. Please help me!}” In the mist of the loud sounds from the forces of Good and Evil colliding with each other, Serenity could hear their voices. “Remember Serena, if we win this one, I’ll help you study for our next exam!” Amy... “C’mon Serena! Let us help! If you don’t I’ll never talk to you again!” She had to laugh. Raye... “Yeah, we can win this one together! Too many guys we gotta meet!” Lita... “We still don’t know each other that well. We gotta win this one.” Mina... “Remember that the whole world is in your hands. No pressure though.” Katherine... And thought the battle, she saw the faint hands of Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Solar grab hold of the wand, each of them unleashing their power. “MERCURY POWER!!” “MARS POWER!!” “JUPITER POWER!!” “VENUS POWER!!” “SOLAR POWER!!” Serenity felt their hands slowly becoming real. She then felt the surging power of the Sailor Scouts going through her. Now it was time to send Beryl back to where she came from. “COSMIC MOON POWER!!” And in a flash of power, a large ball of energy was unleashed through the crystal, and sent straight to Beryl. The effect was so immense, that instead of destroying her instantly, it was covering her body bit by bit, starting with the arms, until her whole body was engulfed in it. And the world knew no more of Queen Beryl. The next day was a perfect Saturday. The Scouts had gathered for a celebration of a giant success over Beryl and her enemies. They had gathered at the arcade (of course), and discussed how Serena had saved Darien and defeated Beryl. “Speaking of Darien, where the heck is the guy? I still gotta meet him!” Katherine said, taking a drink of her soda. “I had invited him, but I don’t know where he is.” Serene said, taking another swig from the cup of Hot Fudge, and wiping away some whipped cream. “How was he after he was cured from being brainwashed?” Lita asked, setting down her dink. “Pretty dazed actually. He said he would find his way back to me though...” “Well, if he said that, then by golly, he will!” Raye said, lifting an arm in the air, and getting in Serena’s face. “But you’d think he’d be pretty exhausted. After all that brainwashing...” Amy pointed out. “Yeah, but I think Darien would be a man of his word. Especially if he was in love with her a thousand...” Mina never finished her sentence. Lita had slapped her lightly in the arm, and pointed at the door. She looked there, and instantly forgot her sentence. Serena was slightly worried for a second, but only for a second as the joy of the Hot Fudge filled her mind. Everybody, even people in the arcade, was looking at the door. Darien was standing there, wearing his casual slacks, black shirt, and green jacket, that he managed to get the ice cream stain out of, and a big smile on his face. He shook his head and walked over to the blonde, still eating her snack. “I’m thinking that’s Darien?” Katherine asked Lita, who was sitting next to her. Lita nodded and smiled. Katherine looked at him again, and nodded her head. “Quite a catch there.” He walked up behind her and put a hand on her shoulder. “Told you I’d find you.” Her head darted up at that, and she turned around in the sliding chair, meeting him completely. She covered her mouth with her hands, and tears came to her eyes. He smiled warmly as he wiped them away with a gentle hand. “I’m here. It’s okay.” She smiled. “I know. I just can’t believe that you’re here.” He wrapped his arms around her in a gentle embrace, closing his eyes slowly as he did, as she cried on his shoulder, while he whispered comforting words in her ear. “Well, look at the time! Raye, Lita, Mina, Amy! Didn’t we have somewhere we needed to go?” Katherine asked, quickly gathering her things. “Oh, yeah! The shopping spree! We’ll see you at the mall Serena!” Raye said, quickly gathering her stuff.. Serena waved a small ‘ok’ sign and went back to crying on his shoulder. When the Scouts left the arcade, Katherine looked at them and said, “So that was Darien?” The Scouts nodded their heads. “Wow.” “The only problem is that she has found the man of her dreams and will keep seeing him again.” Raye said. “Why is that a bad thing? Maybe Darien can help her stay on time?” The Scouts looked at one another. “C’mon, you know I’m right.” Katherine said, putting a hand on her hip. The Scouts looked at her, and nodded. “Good. Now that we have agreed, where is this mall?” Back in the arcade, Serena was still crying on Darien’s shoulder, hugging him tighter and tighter, afraid that this was all a dream and he would disappear. But he never did. He waited as she cried on his shoulder, until he heard her sobs subsiding. He pulled her back and put his hands on her shoulders, standing at an arms length. “Done messing up my jacket yet?” She laughed a little, and nodded. “I’m just so glad it’s really you.” He chuckled a little. “I’m glad it’s me too.” She shook her head, and smacked him slightly in the arm. He looked at her for a second. “Ouch,” he said sarcastically “my arm. Call an ambulance. I’m dying.” She rolled her eyes. “Now that is the Darien I know.” Darien was about to say something when they heard clapping. They turned around to find Andrew standing near them with his mouth open and staring at them, applauding. He shook his head. “Twelve minuets,” he whispered “twelve minuets, and you two are still in the same room together. A new record.” Both Serena and Darien raised their eyebrows at the same time when the whole arcade started out in applause. People stood from their chairs and gave out hollers. Least to be said was that they where stunned. Darien rolled his eyes at his friend. And in another part of the universe, a single soul watched the whole thing, staring down onto the screen, a knowing look on his face as his brown eyes centered on the couple that the Arcade was applauding for. He smiled. “Hello King Endymion. Hello Queen Serenity. Prepare for your worst nightmare.”
