Mina and swooned. "I see somebody's gotten REALLY close."teased Mina. "Mina....You are SO dead!!"exclaimed Serena to her friend.Darien placed Serena down on the blanket that was spread out in the sand. "So...what happened until Dare had to carry you??"asked Raye curiously. "I tripped and sprained my ankle.Then THIS heavy weight here,fell on top of me.So I kissed sand and HE squashed ME!!!" Darien frowned. "Now wait a minute,Tsukino...YOU'RE the one who pulled me down when YOU fell!!!It wasn't MY fault."retaliated Darien. "Well,if YOU hadn't run off first,Chiba...I WOULDN'T have fallen now would I??"hissed Serena. "Here we go again."groaned Amy. Greg nodded his head in defeat. "Serena????"came a voice. Serena whipped her head around to see her old junior school friends. "Molly!!*uggh...* Melvin...."groaned Serena. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The seven teenagers stared at the new-comers. "Serena!!It's been SO long!!"laughed Molly clasping her hands around Serena's. Serena smiled."Yes it has!!" "Guys,I want you to meet Molly Osaka and Melvin Umino."introduced Serena. "Nice to meet you."they said politely. "Sere...it's so wonderful to meet you!!I mean...how have you been????" laughed Molly. "Good.I'm been well."smiled Serena. "What school do you attend now??"asked Melvin curiously,lifting his round glasses to stare at Serena's friends. Darien eyed him peculiarly. "Tokyo Hill Academy."replied Serena simply. Molly and Melvin looked up. "Tokyo Hill???THE Tokyo Hill?????"asked Melvin. Serena shrugged and stared at her old friends strangely. "Last I heard...there was only ONE Tokyo Hill in Tokyo."joked Serena. "So...ALL of you are from Tokyo Hill??"whispered Molly. The group stared at the two,then stared at each other...then back to them. "Yeah."they replied in unison. "Oh...so that's why we never saw you attend Juuban anymore after we graduated Junior High."said Molly solemnly. "Well....my parents wanted me to attend Tokyo Hill Academy." Molly had a faraway look in her eye. "Wish I could attend Tokyo Hill..."whispered Molly wistfully. "Now why would you want that???"asked Mina curiously. "Why....Tokyo Hill Academy is the coolest school in Tokyo.It's a private school,PLUS all the high-status kids study there!!I even heard they have a sorority and fraternity!!"sighed Molly. Melvin rolled his eyes. "Didn't you know all that???"asked Molly perplexed. "Errr....guess we utterly misspent life."giggled Lita nervously. "Boy...I heard from some people,the fraternity and sorority is exclusive!" exclaimed Molly. Darien wanted to laugh badly,buut instead he gave a casual shrug. "I guess." "Are any of you,members of the sorority or fraternity??"asked Molly looking at each of them expectantly. The whole group gave nervous laughter,which puzzled Molly and Melvin. "Actually,Moll...we're ALL in the sorority and fraternity."explained Serena."In fact...you're staring at the Theta Fraternity's very own PRESIDENT and ELIGIBLE guy of Tokyo Hill Academy,Darien Chiba."mocked Serena,smirking. Molly's jaw dropped."Omygod." Darien frowned.Then a smile crept on his face."Yes well,you're LOOKING at Tokyo Hill's own Delta Sorority commitee and the head of the commitee is SERENA TSUKINO,herself." remarked Darien snidely. Molly stared at all of them. "Serena!!!"exclaimed Molly. "Molly....don't get any ide-" "Can you sneak me and Melvin into the Tokyo Hill masquerade prom??????" pleaded Molly. "Oh...Moll...I'm sorry...I can't....the president of my sorority could kick me out for doing something like that!!"said Serena sadly. "Oh..."said Molly."Well...that's okay...I guess...we'll see you around. Our friends are waiting for us."smiled Molly sadly. Serena watched her friend head up the beach,*Oh Molly....I'm sorry..* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Darien noticed the pained look in Serena's eyes.He suddenly felt bad. Serena's shoulders had drooped slightly like a sad rabbit. "Guys....I think I should just head home."whispered Serena. The girls nodded. "Come on.."said Mina. "Oh!!You guys don't need to go...why don't you stay??"asked Serena.She felt horrible for not promising Molly's wish.She felt so selfish. "Nah,we SHOULD get going."said Lita. Raye and Amy nodded. Serena smiled slightly.Mouthing a thanks to her friends. "We'll see you guys on Monday."said Raye waving to the group of guys behind. "Hope your ankle feels better,rabbit!!!"shouted Darien teasingly. Serena rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out at him."I'll get you, Chiba-baka!!!"she replied jokingly. Darien entered the Sigma Club.The club where Tokyo Hill's elite students hung out. The moment he entered.... "Darien!!"cooed a voice. *Melissa...* "Hi sweetcakes.Where did you go yesterday??"cooed Melissa. "No where...What's it to you???"replied Darien coldly. Melissa pouted,trying to look cute.However on Darien's book..it wasn't cute at all...just plain annoying. "Dary!!I'm your girlfriend!!"exclaimed Melissa. Darien resisted the urge to roll his eyes and push past her coldly. "Mel-" Tinkling laughter reached his ears...he knew that laugh anywhere.... Serena... "Darrrry!!!!" "Look Liss,I'm not in the mood today okay?"asked Darien frowning. At that,a few student spoke in hushed tones.Melissa glaring at them to shut up. However Darien was already gone.He'd spotted his fraternity brothers and they were sitting with the girls.*Perfect opportunity!* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serena sipped her coke slowly,listening to the conversation...however... something felt....missing....like a part of her soul......maybe she was just imagining things since she'd given her bracelet to Clara.Though.... something was just not quite right....it was missing something.... "Hey rabbit." *Darien...* "Hello your Oh-Mighty-highness...Chiba-baka."mocked Serena rolling her eyes. Darien gave a chuckle. "Nice to see you too.How's the ankle??"asked Darien. Serena was surprised he'd even remembered. "Eeerrr...better..thank you." "So,Dare...I saw your talk with Lissa there."prodded Chad. "Yeah...Oh..Dary!!!Sweetcakes!!"laughed Ken making kissing noises.Earning him a whack on the head. "Ouch."moaned Ken. "Serves you right."chuckled Darien. The others laughed loudly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Melissa turned to see what the noise was all about.Her eyes landed on Darien and then Serena.Hatred rose up her throat.*The rumors were true!!! How dare she.* Rumors were some freshmen had seen the Theta Fraternity president,carrying a sorority member,on the beach.People who knew them said it was Serena Tsukino. *Serena Tsukino....the stupid air-head blonde thinks she can make a fool out of me,eh.I'll show the stupid chit.*vowed Melissa. Serena sighed,staring at the club's clock.It ticked slowly....agonizingly slow.....She wasn't in such a partyish mood tonight. Her sorority sisters wouldn't let her leave until it was 10pm...and the clock was only 9pm. Serena groaned....right now...the academy sorority house would be better than this....and Serena hated it at the Delta house. "Guys....can't I leave yet??"pleaded Serena to her friends. Four pairs of eyes stared at her. "NO!!"shouted the four in unison. "Girl,you promised to stay at the Sigma Club until 10pm!!!"reminded Lita. "That's right!!Besides we have a beach bash to discuss!"exclaimed Mina excitedly. Serena sighed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Monday.... Serena walked to class....everybody was whispering and staring at her. Had she left her shoes at home???Was there toilet paper sticking out of her bag???Her hair in a mess???Circles under her eyes???What?????? Serena shrugged and continued,bumping into Mina and the others. "Hi girls."smiled Serena. "Serena..."said Mina. Serena stared at them strangely.Why were they looking at her like that?? "What's wrong??" "Y-You haven't heard????"asked Lita surprised.Rumors and gossip spreaded like wildfire in Tokyo Hill. "Heard what????And why is everybody staring at me like that????"asked Serena exasperated. "Oh Serena..."whispered Amy. 'BRIIING!!!' Saved by the bell.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lunch.... "Alright...now what's going on??????????"asked Serena confused staring at her friends faces. "Serena....where were you last night???"asked Raye. "Me????I was at home."replied Serena. "Can you prove it???"asked Lita. "No...I was at home all day..."replied Serena staring at them. "Hey Serena!"called a voice. It was Chad and some other frat boys. "Oh,hi Chad."smiled Serena. "Is it true????"asked Ken staring at Serena. "What's true??????" "That you-..oomph!"said Chad as Raye elbowed him in the ribs. "I what?????"asked Serena clueless. "Rena.....people said you....you...were with Douglas 'Bones' Akiru,last night."said Raye hesitantly. (Everybody gets my meaning right?????) Serena blinked once....twice...."WHAAAAT??????"shouted Serena. Akiru was the most notorious playboy of Tokyo Hill Academy. "That's ridiculous!!!!"snapped Serena. "Serena....the whole school is talking about it!!!"exclaimed Amy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I was alone last night!!!I was ALONE!!!!Not with Akiru!!!"protested Serena. "Hah!!You're probably lying.Someone said they saw you!"exclaimed one frat boy. "Yeah...!!"shouted another. Soon the whole group of frat boys were mumbling and nodding amongst themselves. Serena gasped.Tears stung her eyes......Didn't anybody believe her??? Trust her????Her lower lip trembled. Lita shot all the boys a glare that said, 'If you don't shut up now, you're going to regret it.' Raye too glared at them. But the group didn't quiet down completely.Soon sorority girls came accusing Serena. Serena held the urge to cry....she didn't want anybody to see her cry... "ALRIGHT!!STOP IT!!"shouted a deep dark voice. Serena looked up,from Amy and Mina's comforting shoulders. It was Darien..... "Leave her alone!!How do we know if the person who started this actually saw her with Akiru????"said Darien darkly. The fraternity boys and sorority girls cowered from the Theta Fraternity president. "Whatever it is,she's still disgraced the sorority."came a feminine voice. Darien turned.It was Melissa.Behind her,were her robots who sucked up to her,Priscilla Kiri and Miyo Matsumara. "Serena,you are hereby kicked out from the Delta Sorority."smirked Melissa."..so it means darling....whatever plans you had for the beach bash, you can cancel as it's for sorority and fraternity members,ONLY."remarked Melissa. Serena nodded,pushing through the crowd,and ran....her tears following down unchecked...she was now officially...a social outcast....and also a tabooed boundry. Mina,Lita,Amy and Raye watched as their best friend ran off.....she was now...all alone in the Academy....they shook their heads sadly.... "Oh Serena...."they whispered. Darien watched as the rabbit ran off....crying....his chest hurt and his head was spinning...."Oh...my little rabbit."he whispered softly. Monday's child is fair of face, Tuesday's child is full of grace, Wednesday's child is full of woe, Thursday's child has to go, Friday's child is loving and giving, Saturday's child works hard for a living.
