Fluff 1 of 1 By MoonKlutz moonklutz@yahoo.com http://www.homestead.com/lunap Rat:G (And so titled for an obvious reason.) A few notes this time. If you want a good fight, a new enemy or a three thousand- page fic, you’ve come to the wrong place. If you’re reading this you should know me by now! This is my first one page complete ‘fluff’ piece and I’m going to have fun writing it! So there! Thanks to all the people who wrote me, to the people on my list and to my heroes: Alicia Blade, Mara K., Pandora-samma, Ben G etc. You guys are amazing and the web wouldn’t be the same without you. Also thanks to Nerces, the best brother a girl could have, and his counterpart Serena, my shoulder to cry on and vice versa, not to mention a great writer. You’re the best sister a girl could have. Luvs ya!~ Klutz http://www.homestead.com/lunap Mamoru smiled to himself. He had been trying to read his new physics book for an hour now with little or no success. Usako was curled up asleep on the other end of the couch, and for Mamoru, there was no bigger distraction. Not that he minded. Strange that this book was usually second nature to him. Reading and relating to physics for Mamoru was like breathing or seeing. It was so simple and easy. But of course, Usako was even easier to look at then breathing. Like some angel who had saved him, mostly from his self. Because before she came along there was no life. There was Mamoru versus the world and Mamoru was usually locked up in himself, to busy trying not to get hurt to realize what a wonderful world was sitting right beside him. Usako on the other hand had always been the same wide-eyed happy go lucky joy girl. She had always found something-new everyday to marvel at and make her smile, and always- brought smiles to others. There was a lot more to life now than sitting in a cold Mamoru- box. There was Usako, formerly known as Usagi-chan or Odango Atama. And there was so much more locked up in Usako to discover, worlds of exploration, and centuries to find it all. Because they had all the time in the world as long as the other was near. He could remember the first day after he and Usako had finally * really * gotten together. After that day at Ail and Ann’s apartment when he remembered everything. His past, the moon, the earth and who this girl really was, in every life. He had walked into the arcade with the biggest smile on his face, and even though it hurt to smile so largely, it was a good hurt. Because it was from Usagi, just turned Usako. Motoki had looked up and had done a double take. Was that really his best friend walking in the door? Mamoru who never smiled unless he was teasing someone? And only seconds after registering the look on Motoki’s face, Mamoru had been hit by a flying tackle hug that could have won the giver a place on a professional football team. He heard someone call ‘Mamo-chan!’ happily. There was only one person that could ever be. And oh he wished he could have seen the look on Motoki-kun’s face when he turned around and hugged her back, called her Usako. That must have been the world’s biggest shock for him. Mamoru and Usako who hated each other, in love? No way, no how! Never in his wildest dreams! But… Here they were. Are, really. And he hoped that they would never, ever wake up from such a wonderful dream. The End
