I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!! With the next chapter of FA2 as I have dubbed this fanfic. Sorry for taking so long to get this out, but I think it was worth it! It's a really long chapter, over fifteen pages! YATTA! *giggles* Why haven't I gotten any mail lately?! WHERE'S MY MAIL?! *sniffles* And a thank you going out to a few people, namely the four girls who share a single e-mail addy and write me separate e-mails all the time. Thanks for getting the three of them hooked on SM Kelly! ;) One girl got three others hooked on Sm. Cool, ne? I got the SuperS movie! It's pretty good, actually. Which is kinda sad, the R movie should have been the best! R movie is the best movie! And if you get it, please, don't scream when you hear Peruru's voice at first because that's not how he sounds, okay. But do scream when you hear Diana's voice. Diana's voice is very scary. Oh yes, and I have officially started school. I'm in Chemistry, which is no easy class for me, I have the hardest math teacher in the school (plus he's a little crazy) and I'm also in creative writing so that takes away from my writing time here. Those are the three classes that you really have to worry about getting in the way of me writing, okay minna? I will do my best to not let school interfere with you guys, okay? And to not let this interfere with school too. :) Okay, and I've found out the pun in Chibi-Usa's nickname for Pluto. She calls her Pu, which is the abbreviation for Plutonium in the elements table. See...I am learning something useful in school, wouldn't you say? Sailor Moon is always useful! And just for the record: Tenma is demon or evil spirit in Japanese and Aoi mean blue. Sorry, but it is Haruka/Amara using it and if you've seen the original, then you know that half her vocabulary is swear words. :) DISCLAIMER: I...I...*WAILS* I DON'T OWN SAILOR MOON! FINAL AWAKENINGS: PAST VENGEANCE SEQUEL TO "FINAL AWAKENINGS" CHAPTER 1 __________Journey to the Past__________ ~1996 AD~ "Topaz?" Luna asked curiously as she paced in front of the girls with the other cats. Serena nodded. "Yeah...I've never heard that name before. Ring any bells with any of you? " she asked Terren, Artemis and Luna. The three cats exchanged looks and shook their heads at each other. "No, nothing, Serena. Sorry," Terren told her with a sheepish grin that was quickly wiped off his face by a glare from Rose. "But we can follow up on it at the Command Center," he put in hurriedly. "Another new enemy...more danger to the Prince and Princess," Amara said softly as she gazed over to the others from her perch against one of the Temple's supports. "If they're attacking random targets, we have an even bigger problem." Michelle held her Deep Aqua Mirror and gazed into it. "I get the feeling that it wasn't a random event...not exactly." She gasped suddenly as there was a flash in her mirror. "Michelle?!" the others gasped. "What is it?" Amara asked. Michelle looked up. "I don't know. There was a flash and it looked like...the Princess. I think she was in danger," she explained softly as a dark feeling crept into her being. "WHAT?!" the others exclaimed. Darien's eyes darkened and Serena's eyes widened. "What do you mean, she was in danger?!" Raye asked angrily. Michelle's eyes seemed strangely haunted as she answered. "It's strange. But it wasn't Serena, or Sailor Moon, but actually Princess Serenity." She put her mirror away and sighed. "Something is seriously wrong." "What if..." Amy ventured but then paused. "What is it Amy?" Lita asked as she sat up straight. Amy hesitated slightly. "I was thinking...could the person you saw in your mirror be Neo-Queen Serenity?" she inquired. "Because that could be signifying that Crystal Tokyo could soon be formed and the danger she was in could be the cold sleep." Serena bit her lip and felt Darien squeeze her hand. "Don't worry. I'll take care of you," he whispered to her. Serena smiled at him and turned to the others. "I'm always in danger, and I somehow doubt the mirror was talking about Crystal Tokyo. It doesn't seem right." "Still...we should keep a close eye on you, Princess," Hotaru put in softly. "If I could make a small suggestion," Mina interrupted. Everyone turned to her and gestured her to go on. "Let's keep this a secret from the Tsukino's!" Everyone started before quickly nodded his or her agreement. ******************************************************************* Opal smiled slightly as she looked at the Moon through her viewing window. "It was such a beautiful place before Beryl launched her attack." She narrowed her eyes and frowned. "Makes me sick!" she exclaimed and banished the image. "Princess Opal?" Chlorite ventured as he kneeled before her. "When should we attack?" Opal looked out again, making the Moon appear again. She could see Mare Serenitatis, the Moon Palace and so much more. "Soon. Let's recharge from the journey, and attack as soon as possible." He bowed and vanished from sight. "Yes, Mistress." ******************************************************************* Serena sighed lazily as she read her manga. She giggled and flipped the page before bursting out laughing. "I love Sailor V comics! They catch Mina's personality so well!" Downstairs, Luna and Ilene heard the girls' laughing and sighed. "She'll never change," Luna murmured. "Why do I see that as a good thing? I must be sick!" Ilene laughed. "I somehow doubt that, Luna." She took a sip of her coffee. "She hasn't changed since the Silver Millennium, from what I've heard, and you're just afraid of what will happen if she does." "Not that you're afraid of the same thing," Luna countered. "Touché," Ilene mumbled as she lifted her coffee in a salute to Luna. There was a small scream from upstairs and both women jumped up. Serena ran down the stairs breathing hard. "Sorry bout the scream, but an attack just started when I was up to the good point in my manga!" She held her locket in her hand and ran out the door. "I'll be back as soon as possible!" The door slammed and both of the women sat back down. "An attack?" Ilene whispered in shock. Luna sighed. "Great, here I thought she was actually going to explain this to you." ******************************************************************* "This...is...twice...in one...day!" Jupiter gasped out. "It's not fair!" "VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!" The shield that was around the monster deflected Venus's chain and she sighed. "Yeah, but that's what comes with being a super hero, Jupiter! No life!" Uranus jumped out of the way of the monster's attack and shook her head at the two girls. "You know, if you two have time to talk, you could help the rest of us with this battle!" "Sorry," the both said in a sheepish voice as they joined the fight again. Everyone was there except for Sailor Moon and Sailor Pluto. Tuxedo Mask too, but they knew he was close by. "MERCURY ICEBEAM FREEZE!" The attack was too fast for the monster to dodge and it penetrated the shield enough to break the skin and cause the monster to bleed blue blood. It's black hair whipped around as it turned to face Sailor Mercury. It's tall, slim frame was a bright blue, as so thin that you could see the bones in its' body. With an angry cry, it turned and faced the Soldier. "Stop right there!" a voice called. The monster turned its' attention from Mercury to the newly arrived Sailor Moon and bared it's teeth at her as she jumped down and landed softly on the pavement. "Just the Soldier I was hoping to see," it hissed out, narrowing its' eyes at the Soldier of the Moon. "And why would that be?" Earth asked as she twirled her staff around a little bit. "Cause if it's to destroy her, you're gonna have to get through every one of us to get close to her." "Well, well, aren't we a smart little girl, Roselyn," a man's voice intervened from above the monster. The name caught all of the Soldiers off guard and Tuxedo Mask jumped down from his hiding place. "What did you just call me?" Sailor Earth asked slowly with wide eyes. Her heart began racing. No one knew that name outside of the Soldiers and their boyfriends or family. "It is your real name, isn't it?" he asked her with a sarcastic grin, already knowing the answer. "Or do you no longer go by that, Earth Princess? Or you, Endymion? Serenity?" he questioned as he looked around at each of the warriors in turn. No one answered and he turned to the monster. "You have done well Tenma Aoi. Now held me dispose of them," he ordered. "Tenma?" Saturn whispered softly as she sized up the demon. "What is a 'Tenma?'" Jupiter wondered out loud. "A Tenma is an evil spirit," Mars supplied with a cold voice. She had heard about this particular type of sprit in the scrolls her Grandfather made her read. They were strong, unbelievably strong, according to what she had read. "And apparently our new enemies." "Ooooooh," everyone said at the same time in understanding. "Okay, back to fighting," Neptune gently urged her younger counterparts with a determined look in her eye. Tenma or not, it was going down. The two evil beings floated above the ten warriors and circled them closely. They searched for their opening before the Sailor's got restless and attacked on their own. "WORLD SHAKING!" "MARS FIRE IGNITE!" Topaz rolled his eyes as Uranus' attack came toward him. He teleported out of harm's way and behind Sailor Moon. "I might as well do my Mistress a favor!" he cried as a bright, light blue, power appeared in his hands. There was only a split second for the Soldier's to react. Tuxedo Mask ran forward in a vain attempt to block the blast. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a rose and prepared to throw it. Sailor Moon stared blankly at the incoming object and felt death grip her when something streaked across her line of vision and caused the energy to dissipate. Topaz swore and pulled his hand back while glaring at Tuxedo Mask. "Right at the last second, Cape Boy!" Mars yelled angrily at Tuxedo Mask. He almost hadn't made it in time. "I didn't throw that rose..." he whispered, catching the attention of the Outers and Mars, who were in the immediate vicinity. They looked down and saw the red rose that was still in his hand. "You okay, Sailor Moon?" Venus asked as she ran to her with Mercury, and Jupiter. Sailor Moon didn't answer, but instead kept her gaze glued to the rose imbedded in the ground. The SILVER rose. "A silver rose?" Topaz whispered. 'That means...' His sixth sense caught a flash of power coming towards him and he moved out of the way just in time to see a half dozen silver roses and a golden disk fly right through where he would have been. Everyone turned their focus to where the attacks had come from and saw two silhouettes standing behind them. A slight breeze blew and a cape fluttered behind one of the shadows. The other's hair blew in the gentle wind, and two ponytails could be seen. "Oh my God..." Earth deadpanned. "How dare you attack my mother! She's the gentlest person I know and I won't forgive you for trying to hurt her!" a familiar young girl's voice called out. The two figures began walking closer and they were both clearly visible. "For love and justice, pretty girl soldier in a sailor suite! Sailor Neo-Moon!" "And Neo-Tuxedo Mask!" the other, a boy, called out. "In the name of the future moon...we will punish you!" Neo-Moon finished with a pose. The Warriors studied the two soldiers for a moment. One was obviously Rini, while the other had black hair and sky blue eyes that were just barely visible through his mask. There were several seconds of silence before Neo-Moon blinked and called out to her mother. "Hello! Meatball Head! Are you going to attack them anytime soon?!" Sailor Moon blinked and snapped out of her trance. Those eyes. While they were a different color blue, they held the same intensity that Darien's eyes always held. "R-right," she muttered as she pulled her Star Wand from her dimensional pocket and turned toward Aoi. "SILVER MOON STAR ATTACK!" There was a scream and then only dust where the Tenma had once stood. Topaz growled and looked to the two small soldiers who had prevented his victory. One wore Sailor Moon's outfit and had pink hair. The other was dressed in a miniature version of Tuxedo Mask's tuxedo, hat and with a more silver color mask. He floated up and laughed. "That was my weakest Tenma, Soldiers! Enjoy your victory! It shall not last!" he exclaimed and a portal appeared behind him and he disappeared into it. "Good ride to bad rubbish," Venus snorted. No one bothered to open his or her mouth to correct her. Sailor Moon saw the two grinning children. Two grinning children. TWO. "Excuse me for a moment," Sailor Moon said as she passed out with a loud THUMP to the ground. "Same here," Tuxedo Mask murmured as his face went ashen and he, too, fell to the ground. "Opps," Neo-Tuxedo Mask said with guilty grin on his face. Neo-Moon sighed and slapped a hand to her forehead. "I told you this was a bad idea," she mumbled under her breath as she and her brother quickly jogged to their parents to try and wake them up. After only a few moments, Sailor Moon opened her eyes and blinked up at the group of people who surrounded her. "I just had the strangest dream. Rini came back and there was a boy who looked just like Darien was with her. Isn't that funny?!" she said as she stood up and brushed off her skirt. "You know what makes it even funnier?" an unfamiliar male voice asked. "Is that it's true!" he exclaimed. "ALEC!" Neo-Moon exclaimed. "You could make this less of a shock if you stopped being such a dork!" Neo-Tuxedo Mask rolled his eyes and turned to his sister. "I just thought it was funny, that's all! That's not a crime is it?" "Do you really want me to answer that?" Neo-Moon asked with a smirk. "Wait! Wait!" the newly awakened Tuxedo Mask yelled as he stood up slowly. "What is going on here?! You are..." he trailed off while looking at Neo-Tuxedo Mask. "That can't be." Neo-Tuxedo Mask nodded and de-transformed. "Yes, I am. My name is Prince Endymion Alexander, but everyone calls me Alec. I'm your future son." Sailor Mars furrowed her brow and turned to Sailor Moon. "Didn't you say your nickname was 'Bunny' when you were younger? ARE YOU LIVING UP TO IT OR SOMETHING?!" she exclaimed. Sailor Moon gaped at her friend for a moment before retaliating. "TWO CHILDREN IS PERFECTLY NORMAL!" she yelled. "It's not like there are eight of them standing there or something!" Mars was up to the challenge her friend was presenting and opened her mouth, but the snickering of two children stopped her. Alec was holding his stomach and pointing at the two. "You were right, Rini! They really don't change!" ******************************************************************* Twenty minutes later, everyone arrived at Darien and Rose's apartment. No words were spoken on the way over there, not even between the newly re-aquatinted family. As everyone settled in the living room, Serena could take it no longer. "You're my son?" she asked and Alec nodded his head. "You're sure?" "Yes." "Positive?" "Only fools are positive," he retorted with a cocky grin. The same cocky grin Darien always wore. Rini rolled her eyes and rushed to her parents. "I've missed you both so much!" she exclaimed softly as she hugged both Serena and Darien. "We've missed you too, Rini," Serena said as she held her daughter in a tight embrace. Pulling away she tried to absorb as much information as she could. "Prince Endymion Alexander..." she murmured. "Age?" "Nine, Ma'am," he responded quickly. "I'm just a little over a year older than Rini is." "Nine...we've already missed a lot," Serena wondered to herself. She sunk down to her knees and opened her arms. Darien followed suit and they were both kneeling on the ground in front of Alec. With a smile, Alec rushed and hugged both of them, but only for a moment, before pulling back. "So we can stay here for a while?" he asked excitedly. He had always wanted to meet his parent's past selves. They didn't look much different, making him question his sister's IQ since she had lived with them for so long before knowing who they were, but there was the same kindness in their eyes that told him that they were his parents. Serena was about to open her mouth, but closed it and furrowed her brow. "Wait a second...do Serenity and Endymion even know you're here? Is there danger in the future?!" she asked. Alec and Rini looked at each other out of the corner of their eyes, looked back at their parents and then looked down. "Um...we-we left them a note," Rini stated with a nervous giggle. "Oh no," Michelle groaned. "Rini!" Mina said while putting a hand to her own forehead. ******************************************************************* Pluto gazed out at the never ending Time Stream with blank eyes and an expressionless face. All around her was silence. Deafening silence. But she was used to it, and that thought scared her sometimes. That she could be used to being so alone and sheltered from anything real. The Time Stream was not a friendly place, and Pluto was rarely a friendly person. If you came past the Gate of Time, then you could be expected to be either thrown right back out or killed. Though, just one hour ago, she had let the young Prince and Princess of Crystal Tokyo pass by her with out a second glance. But that was only because she had to. They needed their training. Pluto came to a moment in time, the Silver Millennium and stopped the Stream to examine that moment. Sailor Uranus and Neptune stood not twenty feet away from Sailor Saturn, and were poised to kill her, but Saturn did not let them, and spoke of a message of impending destruction that she needed to deliver to Queen Serenity. Deep in her bones, Pluto felt a chill. She had felt this chill when the Dark Moon had traveled back to the twentieth century. When Onyxious had made his trips between the twentieth and thirtieth centuries. Someone had time traveled... With out her permission. And they had traveled back to one of the most critical and unstable eras in time itself. Two months before the collapse of the Silver Millennium. ******************************************************************* Serena was poised to open her front door not twenty minutes after Rini and Alec's innocent little announcement. Both the children, Darien and Rose were there with her as she went home. It was decided that Rini and Alec would stay the night in the twentieth century and go home first thing in the morning. Only one thing: Alec wanted to be with both of his parents. And that meant staying over at Serena's house. And that meant telling the Tsukino's. "I can't do it!" Serena exclaimed. "Dad's gonna have kittens!" Alec furrowed his brow. "Grandpa can't be that bad. Can he?" he asked his sister who nodded a big YES to that. "Oh." Rose sighed. "Well, if you won't tell him, I will, Sere. And that won't be pretty," she pointed out. "Besides, what's your dad going to do? He already accepted Rini, so why not Alec? I mean, other than the fact that he seems to act just like Darien, even I see something wrong with that." "Hey!" both Darien and Alec protested at the same time with a mild pout in their voice. "Dear Lord, there's two of them," Serena mumbled with a smile. But she had no problem with that. Two children. Two wonderful and mischievous children that she and Darien had created through their love. It was enough to make anyone smile. She still could believe it though. Sometimes...it was hard to believe who you really were and what you were going to become. But these children were the symbol that showed her that everything she had done was going to be well worth it. Taking a deep breath, and Alec's hand, Serena opened the door and let herself and the others in. "I'm home!" she called into the house. There was the sound of several feet jumping up at the same time and then running to the front door where she was. Kent, Ilene, Sammy, Luna, Artemis and Terren all ran into the room. 'Oh great, all three of the cats are here!' thought the five people who had just come in. "Serena, are you okay?" her mother asked as she began checking her daughter over for bruises. Ilene saw no bruises on her daughter and quickly moved to checking Darien and Rose over like a mother hen. She couldn't help it. Since they had no mother to do this, Ilene had become the substitute mother for both of them and was pretty close to insisting that they call her "mom". Rini and Alec stepped back, wondering how long it would take for the others to notice them. And how many people would faint this time. "Don't worry, Ilene," Darien said as he smiled a little nervously. "We're all fine. Just fine." Reluctant to agree, Ilene frowned at them before Kent came forward and pulled his wife back. "Let's let them have some room, Dear. They just got back from a tiring battle." He looked at his daughter out of the corner of his eye with the You-had-better-explain-things -fast-young-lady look. "Among other things," Rose muttered under her breath sarcastically. The three cats walked up to the three humans and began questioning them. "Was it Topaz again?" Luna asked. "Yeah," Serena answered grimly, "and with something he called a 'Tenma.'" Terren jumped onto Rose's shoulder. On his way up, his green eyes caught a flicker of pink. He turned around and came face to face with Rini Shields and a boy how looked very much like a young Darien. "RINI?!" he exclaimed when he saw her. Conversation stopped in the room and everyone tried to look behind the three people blocking their view of Rini and another boy who looked about nine or ten. "What are you doing back here, Rini?" Luna asked as she walked forward. She then noticed the black haired boy and jumped in slight shock. "Umm...Meow?" Serena rolled her eyes. "Drop the act, Luna. He knows. And them being here...well that's kinda a funny story. You see... well...the thing is..." she dwindled on. "Who is he, Serena?" Kent demanded, already having a feeling about it. 'Now or never.' "Mom, Dad, everyone, I'd like you to meet Prince Endymion Alexander, otherwise know as Alec. He's mine and Darien's first child." Silence. Dead silence. Alec laughed a little bit. "At least they aren't passing out, Mom." Rini laughed at that comment. "Well...I did see a picture of when Mom and Dad found out about me in the future...it was almost as funny as that!" Darien turned around and gave both of his children the LOOK. They shut up. They shut up fast. "Thank you," Serena said slightly absently to Darien. "Anyway, they will only be here for tonight because they didn't exactly *tell* their parents that they were coming here," she finished with a slightly glaring look at both of the children who hung their heads in what would be shame. "So you want to know if Darien and Rose can stay over tonight, don't you?" Ilene asked with a smile. "Because all of you want to be together." Serena smiled at her mother. She was convinced that her mother was a mind reader, all mothers seemed to be. "Well...yeah." Kent opened his mouth to protest but Ilene quickly put a hand over his mouth. "That's just fine. But you all have to sleep downstairs." Sammy shook his head. "Man, first she's Sailor Moon, got a kid and now she's got two! I swear this family gets weirder and weirder everyday." Serena had to laugh at her brother. "Well, I can't say I disagree with that, but maybe you could find out who you marry if you ask the two of them nicely." Sammy was fourteen, and thus beginning to notice girls. So Serena figure that comment would turn him a nice shade of red. She was right. Serena grinned to herself and got ready to jump when her brother became ready to lunge at her. There was a flash of light between the two groups, halting Sammy in his tracks, and Rini and Alec cringed. "Uh-oh..." Rini whispered. "It's Pu!" "We are so dead," Alec moaned. "Hey, Rini, do you think if we beg enough she'll let us off the hook?" he asked in a pleading tone. "Absolutely not!" Sailor Pluto snapped slightly, causing the two children to lower their heads in shame. "Everyone at the Place has been frantically searching for you two! When they found your note, the King ordered me here to let you know that all you had to do is ask and you would have been able to come back." *That* caught everyone by surprise. "Pluto?" Serena asked questioningly. Pluto smiled slightly. "They are in desperate need of training and everyone else is a little busy so we haven't been able to train them. Queen Serenity and King Endymion were planning on sending them here soon enough." Her attention turned back to the children. "Though that doesn't mean that they are happy with you." The children went back to looking ashamed. Pluto's eyes suddenly became saddened. She turned to Serena and Darien. "We need to have a meeting, right now. I have discovered something critical and highly damaging to the Time Line." ******************************************************************* It took only five minutes to get every Inner and Outer Soldier to Serena's house. Pluto refused to speak a word until everyone was there, and that only caused Serena and the others, who had heard what Pluto had said before, to become more and more frightened. Five minutes seemed to last hours, but finally everyone was there. Rini and Alec were sitting on the couch, nestled snugly between their parents. They prayed that there was nothing going on in Crystal Tokyo. Their city couldn't stand much more damage after what had happened with Onyxious and his group. Pluto stood in the center of the room filled with Soldiers and the Tsukino's. What she was going to say was not going to be easy, but she knew she had to do it. Everyone calmed down, as best they could, and Pluto began speaking. "I'm not going to beat around the bush. A little under a half-hour ago, I sensed a great disturbance in the Time Line. When I went to examine it, I found situations and people I had never seen before, and it worries me. However... the source of this disturbance was not in this time, as I suspected it to be. It was in the past." She took a deep breath. "Two months before the fall of the Moon Kingdom, Silver Millennium, to be exact." If Pluto hadn't had the rooms' attention before, she sure as hell did now. "Shit," Amara hissed. "How?" Pluto looked away, her expression set in stone on her face. "I am unsure. However, I do know that we must correct this mistake as quickly, and discreetly, as possible. I'm not sure who our enemy is, but they intend great harm to the Princess." Michelle reached into her dimensional pocket and pulled her mirror out. "That's what I saw earlier today! A threat to the Princess!" she exclaimed quietly. "As of right now, this future will be destroyed," Pluto continued. Rini and Alec's heads snapped to attention and they turned pale. "The reason that it isn't gone already, is a change as great as this, and so far in the past, will take over a day to reach us. If we act now, and send someone to the past, the change will stop and everything will be as it was before, unless they fail." Pluto's face was sad. "We have never dealt with a threat such as this before." Darien looked thoughtful for a moment. "So you're basically saying that we need to send someone back to the Silver Millennium to stop this evil force?" he asked. "That," Pluto whispered, "is exactly what I'm saying." "I'll go," Amara immediately volunteered and stood up. Michelle stood beside her and soon, all of the Soldiers were standing except for Serena and Darien. The Inners vs. the Outers. They each wanted to go, but not with the other group. Serena could hear them fighting over who would go and who would stay but tuned the out. The wheels in her head were spinning. If two of them went back to the past, they would be forced into fighting. Which meant that they would have to transform. And any idiot knew that it would look very strange if there were two Sailor Uranus's or two Sailor Mercury's running around. The cover would be blown and the Time Line would still be thrown out of balance. That is unless... Darien sighed and put his head in his hands. He had been trying to put in a word about who should go but they hadn't been paying attention. He turned to Serena who was sitting there with a blank expression on her face, and he knew that she was in deep thought. "Daddy," Rini whispered as she pulled on her fathers' sleeve. Darien turned to his children who were sitting there looking at him expectantly. "Yes, what is it?" Alec cleared his throat and asked the question that they were both wondering. "Does...this mean that everything is going to disappear?" he asked shakily. Darien smiled slightly. "No. Absolutely not," he told his son firmly. "Your mother and I won't let anything happen to either of you." Serena opened her eyes. She had made up her mind and no one was going to change her mind. "NONE OF YOU ARE GOING!" she yelled, interrupting the fight, which was about to turn lethal, if she didn't step in. Serena stood and faced the Soldiers with determined yes. "I will go." A smile curved Pluto's lips and she stepped out of firing range as the others prepared to tell her she couldn't go. The Tsukino's gaped at their daughter while the Soldiers looked ready to tie her to something to make sure she didn't go. "There's no way in hell you are going, Princess," Amara told her with a note in her voice that, under normal circumstance, would have booked no argument. "Yes, I am," Serena told her friend as she stood her ground. Darien took a deep breath and took Serena's hand. "Serena, she's right. You're needed here to fight. You can't just leave, Serena." Darien knew it was futile, in all honesty, he knew she was the best one for the job. But he wasn't letting her go alone. "There's no talking you out of this is there?" he asked her quietly. Serena shook her head no, and stood firm. "Fine...but only if I come with you." "WHAT?!" everyone exclaimed. Rini and Alec blinked and gaped. "Mom, dad, you can't!" Alec protested. "Serena, Darien, you two are being unreasonable!" Raye snapped. "You could get killed!" Mina nodded her agreement along with Amy. "She's right, Serena. And then what would happen to the future?" Amy asked. "I could get killed by walking down the street, guys," Serena protested. "And besides, isn't it going to be a little suspicious if there were suddenly two of a certain Sailor Soldier? Hmm?" she questioned them with a raised eyebrow. "If we were to do this discreetly, than you couldn't let your identity be discovered. And there was no Sailor Moon in the Silver Millennium so that should throw them off a little." Lita opened her mouth to reply, but closed it just as quickly. "We don't want you to get hurt, Serena," she whispered. Serena smiled. "I won't. But all of you can handle those Tenma's while I'm gone right? Especially since you'll have Neo-Moon and Neo-Tuxedo Mask to help you." It took a while, but there were several, if not reluctant, agreements. Hotaru gazed up at her Princess. "You still shouldn't go alone." "That's why I'm going with her," Darien said firmly. "The two of us should be able to take care of this threat, as long as the past Soldiers will cooperate." Rini looked away sadly. Alec grinned a little and squeezed his younger sibling's shoulder in a comfort. There had been two reasons for them coming back. Though one had been to train, the other was to spend time with Serena and Darien. Though if they were needed, the two of them couldn't hold their parents back. "Serena," Kent addressed his daughter. Serena turned to her family, her eyes full of determination. Kent opened his mouth to protest, but the look in her eyes forced him to sigh and bite his tongue. "Just be careful." Serena smiled and hugged her father. "I will," she whispered. Rose glared at her brother. In her mind she was cursing at him long and fluently. "I'll take care of Rini and Alec while you two are gone, okay?" "Thank you, Rose," Darien said with a smile, even though he knew what she was calling him in her mind. "We can go, can't we, Pluto?" Serena asked the Guardian who had remained silent the entire time. Pluto nodded her approval of the plan. Serena kneeled down in front of her children. "We'll be back as soon as we can, okay you two?" she asked as she brushed black bangs out of her son's hair. "I really want to stay and get to know you better, Alec..." Alec smiled. "I know, Mom. Believe me, I understand." Rini nodded her agreement with Alec. They had both seen enough war to know that this was far more important than it seemed. "When do we leave?" Darien asked Pluto as he watched his girlfriend talk with their children. He ruffled his son's hair and smiled at his daughter. "Now." ******************************************************************* ~992 AD~ She gazed at the blue sphere in the sky and twirled the flower in her fingers. She longed to be there now; be with him. But Earth was the forbidden planet. Even now, during the peace talks, she couldn't go there with out prior notice and at least two of her Royal Guard. "Endymion..." she whispered as she blinked back a sudden tear in her eyes. "I miss you." A pair of arms encircled her waist and she gasped as a pair of familiar lips placed themselves near her ear. "I miss you too. That's why I came to see you, Serenity." "Endy..." she whispered as she turned in the embrace and came face to face with a pair of deep blue eyes and unruly black bangs. She smiled and threw her arms around his neck. "Endy! What are you doing here?!" She laughed as Endymion picked her up and twirled her around before setting her down among the flowers. Endymion pressed his forehead to hers and smiled at her. "Well right now I'm looking at your beautiful face." Serenity blushed slightly and tried to look down, but Endymion pulled back and tilted her chin up. "And now...I'm going to kiss you," he whispered huskily. Endymion lowered his lips to Serenity's and began to kiss her. Gently, yet as deeply as he could. Pulling away, Serenity rested her head on his armor-covered chest. "How did you manage to get up here, Endy?" she asked him softly. "Rose promised to cover for me in my duties while I'm here," he told her. Serenity pulled back and raised an eyebrow at him in silent questioning. "And I have to go shopping for dresses with her when I get back. And let her sneak out for a while and keep Terry busy." Serenity laughed. "Your sister drives a hard bargain. Wonder where she learned that from?" she asked teasingly. Endymion's eyes lightened a shade and he smirked at her. "Are you going to back that up?" he asked as he took one step towards her. Serenity backed up a little bit and smiled innocently. "Yep." Endymion lunged for her, but Serenity quickly dodged and ran off through the garden with her lover close behind. ******************************************************************* Queen Serenity resisted the urge to yawn as the elderly man and his wife left the Moon Place for the rest of the year. It had been a long day, but thankfully it was almost over. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy talking to people, but this day had just been much longer than usual. There was just one more item on the list of things she needed to do that day. She often invited Lords and Ladies from the further reaches of her kingdom to come to the Palace and stay for a month or two. This year, two families had accepted her invitation and were now at the Palace. The Shields, and the Tsukino's were the last people she had to see for the day. "Presenting, Lord Darien Shield and Lady Serena Tsukino, Your Majesty," one of the guards announced as he opened the door that led to the hallway. Queen Serenity's face didn't change as she studied the two young people who entered her Court. The girl was a little over five foot with long blond hair tied in a long braid down her back. She was wearing a pale blue dress that matched her blue eyes. The man had dark black hair and green (AN: YES GREEN!) eyes that seemed sad, somehow. He was wearing armor, similar to what Endymion wore. Something about the way the two held themselves, their posture and stance, made Queen Serenity question how much etiquette training they had had. Because they held themselves far better than any Lord or Lady she had ever seen. The two walked up to Queen Serenity and bowed before her. "We are honored by your inviting our families to stay at the Palace, Queen Serenity," Lady Serena spoke in a quiet and respectful tone. "However, our parents were unable to make it and we have come here in their stead," Lord Darien concluded. "Rise," Queen Serenity commanded. The two did as told and raised their heads so that they could see Serenity. "I am grateful that you could come, and wish to know if your parents have taken ill so I may send them my kindest regards." Serena swore in her mind. They had hoped that Serenity wouldn't have asked that question but answered back with out missing a beat. It was all part of the plan. "No, Your Majesty. They simply needed time to themselves. And getting the children out for a while worked just fine," she said with a grin. Queen Serenity laughed slightly. "Yes, I understand." Regaining her composer, Serenity began to question them again. "If I may ask, Lord Darien, are you courting Lady Serena? You don't have to answer, but I can feel something between you two." Serena blushed slightly and Darien laughed. "Yes, I am, Your Majesty." Serenity nodded and smiled. "Well, good luck to you then." Serenity could already tell she was going to get along well with these two. "So how long are you planning on staying?" she asked them. "Most likely a month or so," Serena supplied. "That's gre-" "QUEEN SERENITY!" a familiar voice cried out as the doors to the throne room burst open and three silhouettes could clearly be seen. Serena and Darien turned at the sound of the voice, which they recognized as Uranus, and Queen Serenity stood. She only recognized two of the people standing in the doorway, while the third struck no memory in her mind. Serena and Darien, however, recognized the third outline and paled noticeably. "My God," Serena whispered, just now realizing how out of line the Time Line was, "Saturn." Darien reached and took Serena's hand in his and gave it a quick squeeze in hopes of comforting her fear. The same fear he had. The fear that they couldn't right whatever had gone wrong. "Uranus, Neptune, what is the meaning of this?" Queen Serenity asked as the two Outer Soldiers came into the light. Her eyes went impossibly wide as the third stepped into the light. Her eyes were cold and lifeless, holding impossible knowledge and sadness. "Princess Hotaru...Sailor Saturn..." Serena and Darien seemed to have been forgotten and they stepped back slightly, so they could get as much information as they possibly could. It would probably be one of the few times they could get information with out having to pry for it. The three Outer Soldiers walked up and kneeled before their Queen. "Queen Serenity, I bring a message," Saturn said grimly. "There is a great evil approaching the Kingdom. I believe their target is Princess Serenity, your daughter, My Queen." Serena gasped, unknowingly, and caught the attention of the other four in the room. Uranus jumped up and unsheathed her Space Sword. She jumped over to where Serena and Darien were standing and grabbed Serena in a headlock with the sword pointed at her throat. Serena's breath caught in her throat and she didn't move. "No!" Darien exclaimed. "Let her go, Sailor Uranus!" Uranus' eyes were cold as she brought the Sword closer to the girls' throat. "Uranus!" Serenity exclaimed. "Let her go! I should have dismissed them when you first came in, but I didn't. They are not a danger, and they will not speak of anything they have heard today, shall they?" Queen Serenity asked as she gazed at the two. Uranus let go of Serena and put her Sword back. "Yes...Your Majesty. We...didn't hear much anyway," she coughed out. She began to slump to the floor due to lack of oxygen. Darien jumped forward and caught Serena before she fell all the way to the floor. "Serena! Hold on!" he exclaimed. Uranus looked not a bit sorry as she turned to her Queen. "I'll take her to the infirmary while Saturn tells you what she saw, Queen." "I would expect better of you next time, Uranus," Serenity told the warrior who nodded and led Darien out with Serena in his arms. "Forgive her, my Queen," Neptune said with a sad smile. "She acts very hasty and Saturn's awakening hasn't helped." Serenity nodded. "I understand." ******************************************************************* Uranus led the young couple down the hall to the healer's room and let them in. She turned and faced a very angry Darien. "The Healer will be with you soon. I must return to the Queen." She walked back to the door and was about to let herself out when she stopped. "How much of the conversation did you hear?" she asked. Darien knew that he had to lie to her. Because he had heard everything. "Actually nothing. But we have heard rumors of Sailor Saturn and it surprised us when we realized who she was." Uranus narrowed her eyes. "If I find out different, Queen Serenity won't be there to stop me." She walked out of the room and didn't look back. "No, but I will," Darien called after her. He could hear her pause for a moment before continuing on and ignoring his comment. "You know," Serena whispered from Darien's arms, "if she knew who I was, she'd be kicking herself right now." Darien chuckled slightly. "I know. Well, we made it here, let's consider ourselves lucky, and not press that luck. Especially with Sailor Uranus." Serena nodded her agreement. "I know. And we have to hurry and find whoever is doing this. It must be much stronger than we thought if it awoke Saturn. I hope we can take care of this." Darien kissed Serena's lips and gazed into her eyes. "We'll be fine." Serena smiled. "You know what...I like your eyes better blue," she whispered as she traced his cheek. Darien caught her hand and kissed it. "You've said that before, Serena." She laughed. "Just trying to change the subject to something other than work." ******************************************************************* Opal's eyes opened and she gazed out at the Moon Kingdom. "I didn't expect you to come, Serenity. Your warriors, but not you." She smirked evilly. "But this just will make it that much more interesting, won't it? You can't let your mother find out, can you? Chlorite!" The green haired man appeared before his princess, his light green eyes flashing slightly. "Yes, my Princess?" She lowered her eyes and laughed. "I take back what I said earlier. Prepare the first attack now!" she ordered. Chlorite looked startled but bowed. "Yes, mistress." To be continued... So, how'd ya guys like it? On the edge of your seats yet? I really hope so because I put a lot of time into the chapter. Are you wondering what's gonna happen in the past? PLEASE SAY THAT! And the only way you can say it is if you write me!
