Destiny And Desire: Chapter 2 Crystalline Angel and Silvery White Rose XMoonlitAngelX@aol.com * Silver Rose71442@aol.com Rated: G Konnichwa....minna. We are back with part 2 of our story. I am so sorry it took so long. Crystal-chan just got back a few weeks ago and I hadn't really worked on this story while she was gone. I don't know own the rights to Sailormoon. Though I do really wish I did. But no I don't. Silvery Konnichiwa minna! Yikes, Rose-chan sent this to me to look over a rather long while back...I'm *such* a procrastinator! ::sweatdrop:: Anyway, I'm hoping chapters will come out somewhat faster now...except for school. ::cringe:: And just so you know, I DO own Sailormoon! I do! I do! (let me dream, darnit!) ::whimper:: Okay, so I don't... @>~~>~~ ~~<~~<@ "Welcome aboard The Queen Serenity. My name is Mina Aino, and I'll be your cruise director on this trip. I'm sure you all just want to unpack and get comfortable, so please assemble in the dining room at 1:30." The bubbly blond chirped as she greeted the boarding guests. As she spoke, she looked frantically for Serena. She wanted to be sure that she wouldn't miss her cousin when she arrived, especially since she had blackmailed her. 'Well, it was for her own good,' Mina thought defensively as she smiled and greeted some more guests. Mina was brought out of her trance when she heard a familiar, sexy male voice call out to her. Instantly, she knew who it was. She turned in the direction it came, her twinkling eyes greeting the handsome blond from afar. "Hey Mina! Has Serena arrived yet?" Andrew smiled, green eyes twinkling as he looked at the blond goddess in front of him. He had known Mina all his life--they lived in the same neighborhood and played together as children, but it was only recently that he started to feel something for this blond beauty he worked so closely with. "Nope. She's not here yet, but that isn't a surprise, now is it? She's never made it to anything on time in her life...with the exception of teaching." Mina smiled as she thought about how good Serena was with the kids she taught. Serena definitely made an impact on her students. Andrew chuckled. "That's Serena for you, alright. You have to take her good qualties with the bad ones." "True. Very true." Mina giggled. @>~~>~~ ~~<~~<@ Meanwhile... A taxi pulled up near the ship's boarding area and a blond poked her head out to look at the magnificent cruise ship she would be on for the next few months. She had to admit she was very lucky that Mina had given her the cruise ticket--she never would've been able to even think about going on such a cruise on her teacher's salary. "$15.25 please," the driver informed her as he pulled out her bags from the trunk. "Thank you. And keep the change." Serena smiled her beautiful smile as she handed him a $20. The driver smiled and went got back into his cab. 'She certainly has a beautiful smile,' he thought as he looked at her one last time before he pulled away. Serena stood there marveling at the size of the Queen Serenity. Suddenly, she realized that it would be a good idea to board the ship before Mina sent out a search party fo her. She smiled and looked at the line of people waiting patiently to board. Serena took one last big breath, 'Here goes nothing...' and began to walk over to the line pulling her rolling luggage with her. @>~~>~~ ~~<~~<@ "Darien, will you loosen up? We're here now and there's nothing you can do about it." Greg told him impatiently while he listened to his friend whine. "I can't believe I let you and Andrew talk me into this." Scowled the irriated man. "Well it's too late now." Greg retorted. "I don't understand how you can be so calm. *You* are the one that gets sea sick just looking at the water." Darien grinned as he noticed Greg start to turn a pale shade of green at the mention of the water and his sea sickness. He turned even greener when he finally came to terms with the fact that he would be this way for the next two months Greg glared murderously at Darien, who was having a hard time keeping his laughter in check, when something slammed full force into the man. The next thing Greg saw was his friend sprawled on the ground, luggage all over the place, and a young blond lying on top of him. He heard Darien groan and a sweet voice start to apologize, and then Darien freaked... "I am *so* sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going and the crowd..." "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?? Watch where you're going, moron!!!." Greg winced at the tone of voice, and at the poor blond who even now was trying to apologize. "I *said* I was sorry." Serena was getting a little more than mad. Here she was trying to apologize, and this guy was acting like a first-class jerk! Greg knew that Darien was going to say something that he would regret, and hastily stepped in. "You'll have to excuse my friend. He isn't exactly happy to be here, so..." Greg smiled as he notice the lovely blond that had caused the collision. Serena smiled. "Thank you. I'm really sorry for bumping into your friend. And about not being happy to be here. I know how he feels." Darien stood up and dusted himself off. He couldn't believe that Greg had stepped in before he could really let this-this *moron* have it. Darien turned to see Greg talking to a beautiful blond, her hair done up in the strangest style he had ever seen. For some reason, it seemed to suit her well. "Uh...hm," Darien cleared his throat. Both Serena and Greg turned to look at him. Darien caught his breath as he saw just how beautiful the woman was. Her hair was like spun gold, and her eyes shimmered with the depths of the sea. He was drowning in them...and he couldn't swim... Blinking, Darien regained his composure and started to rant and rave again. "I can't believe that you plowed me over like that. And just look at my suit!" Darien said angrily. "I *said* that I was sorry." Serena raised her voice, on the verge of losing her own temper. The people around her looked at the two strangely. At that moment, Mina came bounding off the ship at the familiar sound ofSerena's voice. Her hand was clamped around Andrew's hand as he stumbled along behind her. "Serena!!" Cheered the blond as she enveloped her cousin in a giant hug. "Mina! I missed you too, but I need to breathe!" Serena gasped. She was turning a light shade of purple. "I was starting to wonder if you were going to make it before the ship left the dock." Mina giggled. "Oh, I arrived a while ago, but this *jerk* insists on harassing me." Serena glared at Darien murderously. Mina followed her gaze, and raised a brow as she tried to keep herself from laughing. "Hey Dare, still making good first impressions on the ladies." Andrew laughed. Darien scowled, "Shove it, Andrew." Andrew only raised a brow and continued to laugh. Serena heard the voice and launched herself into the arms of her childhood friend. "Andrew, it's so good to see you again!! I haven't seen you in forever!" Serena exclaimed as she hugged the life out of him. "Lovely as ever, Serena. That temper of yours hasn't changed though." Andrew chuckled, as Mina laughed at Andrew's blue face. "Well, what can I say?" Serena asked with a quirky grin. "Come on Sere, I'll show you around the ship--it's absolutely *gorgeous*!" And before Serena could even reply, Mina was dragging her aboard the ship. The three men left standing there looked at each other. "Women." @>~~>~~ ~~<~~<@ Well? What do you think? I know, I took *way* too long with this...and I'll admit it's all my fault. ^^;; But besides that...do you like? Hate? Totally not understand what we're writing? Whatever it is, we wanna know, so tell us!! Onegai? ~Crystalline Angel
