So please read it and enjoy. @>~~>~~ ~~<~~<@ "Pleeeeeeeaaase? Sere, come on!!" pleaded the 24-year old Mina Aino as she sat in a tiny apartment that belonged to her cousin. "Mina, for the last time, NO!" Serena Tsukino practically screamed at her. "What do I have to do to make that any clearer?!" Serena paced back and forth in front of her cousin who had come to see her early this morning. Mina had wanted to talk about something she said that was 'very important'. "But it's for your own good!! You need this vacation!" Mina *had* to get Serena to go. If not for Serena, then for her own peace of mind, so she wouldn't have to spend the entire summer worrying about her. "I can't afford a cruise on a teacher's salary and you know it. And since the Serene Queen--" "Queen Serenity." Mina interrupted getting annonyed that her cousin was being so difficult. 'If she would just go....I would get off her back.' "Whatever!" she cried. "The Queen Serenity is a brand new luxury cruise ship, so it's gonna cost a small fortune..... I *can't* spare the money." "Money for what?" Mina asked slyly. Slowly, she pulled out a first class ticket for the Queen Serenity. Mina smiled as her cousin's expression turned to complete shock. Serena's eyes widened. "Mina, where on *earth* did you get that?" "Comes with being the cruise's director." Mina smiled wickedly. "So what's your excuse *now,* Serena?" "I just don't want to, okay? I have stuff to do for work," she replied, turning away from her cousin. 'Please let her understand. I have so much to worry about instead of going on this darn cruise.' "Oh, you mean like trying to fix the microwave before the principal realizes it's broken?" Mina asked innocently knowing that blackmail was her last resort but it was for her own good. Serena whirled around to face her, eyes the size of saucers on her face. "How'd you know about that?!" she demanded. 'No one knew about it.' "I have my ways. And think about it. If you're away on a cruise when our dear Principal Haruna finds out, she can't pin it on you. Come on, Sere...you *know* you want to go," Mina grinned triumphantly at her cousin, knowing she had won. "B-b-but-but that's blackmail!!" Serena looked like a cornered puppy. 'How the heck am I going to get out of this one?' She though miserably. "Why Sere, dear, what makes you think that?" Mina asked, a golden halo above her golden hair. Serena groaned, knowing she had lost. "Oh alright, I'll go," she mumbled... 'I CAN'T believe I am actually stuck going on this ruise.' @>~~>~~~>~~~@ "Darien, come on!! You *have* to come...look at you--you'll end up in the hospital if you don't get away and relax for a while!" Andrew Furuhata begged his best friend. And it was true. 29-year old Darien Chiba was the co-CEO of Chiba/Urawa Computer Inc., and had been completely overworked in his quest to become the biggest company in the industry. Meetings, lunchs, trips, and demonstrations, Darien never stopped. "Darien, admit it, you *do* need a vacation. So take it. I can handle things here for now." 28-year old Greg Urawa was the other CEO of the company, and was far more mellow about his work. "I'm not going and that's final! If you need someone to go so badly, take Greg!" Darien said. 'I wish Andrew would just get off my back.' "If Greg goes, will you go?" Andrew asked. The 29-year old blond was desperate to get his friend to go. 'You are just too darn stubborn. I am going to get you to go if it kills me.' "If you can get Greg to go? Sure. Good luck though." Darien was sure he was off the hook now. Greg would never agree to go on a cruise, with his extreme seasickness and all... "...sure I'll go. As long as it gets Darien to relax. When is it?" Greg's voice filtered through Darien's truimphant thoughts... wait a minute... "What?! But Greg, you can't go!!" Darien cried as he stood up from the chair he was sitting in and moved to face Greg. "Yes I can, and I am. The cruise is in a week, so get packing," Greg told him as he pushed Darien out the door of his office. Darien sighed in defeat. "Traitor," he muttered under his breath as he left. 'I can't believe IT.' @~~~@>~~>~~ One week later, the day of the cruise... Apartment 12F in the Tokyo Tower Apartments was in shambles. Clothes, shoes, makeup, and various other items covered the floor in a thick carpet. In the midst of it all, 24-year old Serena Tsukino was adding to the growing heap. 'Darnit, why couldn't I have packed earlier?!' She silently screamed, 'Then I'd be nice and relaxed now, instead of turning my apartment into a pigsty!' "Honk, Honk." Came the sound of the taxi outside that had been waiting for her for the last 10 miutes. Shoving another pair of shoes into her suitcase, she hurriedly zipped them up and grabbed the other two. Then she flew out the door, barely taking the time to lock her apartment up... @~~~@>~~>~~ "Greg, are you ready?" Darien asked. They were standing outside of Greg's mansion on the outskirts of Tokyo, near the harbor where the ship would be leaving. "Yeah, I am...I hope," Greg already looked green just thinking about spending 2 months on a ship. 'Remember, this was for Darien.' Darien laughed, "Well, you asked for it...and you got it. Let's go," as they put the last bit of their luggage into Greg's car. They got into the car, and took off... @>~~>~~ ~~<~~<@ Well, what do you think?
