A Confused Love Part 2 Author: Patch E-mail: patchkhan1@hotmail.com Rating: PG Seiya's thoughts were in inner turmoil as they waited for Serena's arrival. He thought about both Rhianna and Serena. What was he going to do? He knew he loved Serena but he still wasn't sure of his feelings for Rhianna. It was something new, something unknown and something he was very afraid of. He had been spending quite a lot of time with Rhianna. He stayed at the palace much longer to be with her, he took her out on 'dates' and he knew Rhianna was enjoying every minute of it. Just last night he had taken her to the Gundara cliffs again; it seemed to be a favorite place for her. *Flashback* The two sat quietly on the grass, Rhianna had brought up her knees and Seiya was reclining in the grass, propped up on one elbow, his legs stretched out before him. "Seiya, what do you suppose the others think of our relationship?" she asked. "My brothers?" "Yes." "They're very happy for me, fortunately." "Oh, why is that?" He did not want to answer that question so he did what he thought was most logical. He reached up and pulled her down next to him until she had to look up into his face. "Seiya, what are you doing?" she whispered, licking her lips unconsciously. "I'm going to kiss you Rhianna," and he bent his head to lower his mouth to hers. She shivered and then reached up a hand to sift through his hair as he slowly pressed closer. "Aisheteru (I love you) Seiya, aisheteru," she whispered in between their kisses and he froze. They were words he had wanted to hear for so long. His heart expanded with some emotion and it scared him so he decided to continue in kissing her. *End Flashback* "Oh God..." he whispered, letting his head fall into his hands. "Seiya, are you alright?" Kakyuu asked leaning towards him. "I'm just fine," he mumbled. "Good, because the guard says we are supposed to receive communication any minute now." A transporter portal was set up. It was the same one used when Seiya and his two brothers had left for Earth in search of their Princess, Kakyuu. However, there was no need for another portal to await them on the other planet. Now they could only wait and see if Crystal Tokyo's technology was advanced enough to equal the advancement of this planet. Electricity fizzed between the portal and lights flickered on and off. The four held their breaths and Kakyuu grabbed Seiya's hand. "It'll be alright," he whispered, "they'll get here." He hoped it was true. Kakyuu gasped and pointed, "Look, I see something!" Two shadowy figures could be seen coming through and then the smoke cleared and standing in front of them were none other than Serena and Darien, now known as Neo-Queen Serenity and Neo-King Endymion. The three brothers inhaled sharply for what Yaten had said was so untrue. Standing before them was the most exquisite figure of grace and sophistication. Her hair had now turned from the golden yellow they were so used to, to a royal silver that bespoke of her stature. Next to her was a man that looked to be feared yet respected at the same time. Age had not marred his features either, his hair was still a shiny black and his blue eyes still held keen intelligence and a deep wisdom. His arm was held protectively around her waist, Seiya noted, and she had placed her hand on top of his. (AN: it would make a cool picture, no?) For a moment no one spoke and then Serena broke the silence, in her usual bubbly manner. "Kakyuu!" she rushed forth at the same time as the other woman and the two embraced tightly for a while. "I'm so glad to see you! Here, let me look at you," and she held her at arms length, "Goodness, Serena, you still look as beautiful as ever! How do you do it?" "I think that night cream of hers that she uses might be it. Kakyuu, you might wanna ask her if you can borrow some." Kakyuu shot Seiya a glare but Serena smiled and walked over to the three, two who were still staring at her dumb-founded. "The Three Lights," she said, "you guys haven't changed a bit," and then she suddenly hugged them, squeezing them tight. "Serena," an amused voice interrupted, "you might want to let them breathe a bit." She blushed and let them go and turned to her husband, "Oh Darien, can you blame me, it's been so long and I've missed you guys so much," she said turning back to them. "We've missed you too," Taiki said. "Yeah, some more than others," Yaten replied, smirking. Seiya discreetly elbowed him and then went to stand before Serena, "So, Serena, or should I say Neo-Queen Serenity, I see you still have your odangos. Does Darien still call you Meatball Head?" "Trust you to bring that up," Serena laughed, hitting Seiya lightly on the shoulder, "Of course he still calls me that, but he knows that there are repercussions, ones that he doesn't like at all." she finished and winked at Darien, who surprisingly blushed. No one missed the hidden connotations that passed between the two and it was obvious that they were truly in love. Seiya felt sadness creep into him at that observation but there was another emotion there also, tugging at him and demanding his attention. But he ignored it and asked Darien how long she was staying. Darien gazed at him steadily, assessing him, Seiya could tell, before replying, "Probably for a day or two. We aren't sure how long this portal thing can work. We've tried it on a few other planets but never on a planet a galaxy away. We don't want to risk any chances, which is why we're staying for such a short time. Serena wanted to stay longer but she understood the risk. "That's okay," Kakyuu replied, "we have plenty of time to show you around. Come, Darien, Serena, I should show you to your rooms and then we can get started. You must tell me all about Crystal Tokyo. How come the other girls couldn't come?" "Oh, while we leave the palace, the girls usually 'rule' in a sense, although them ruling properly remains to be seen." "Well, maybe next time they'll be able to come. In the meantime, come, I must give you two a personal tour!" Later that night.... "He still loves you, you know," two arms encircled her waist and pulled her into a wall of warmth and strength. She turned around in his arms and gazed up at him, "You're wrong this time." "And how would I be wrong?" he asked bending to place a kiss on her neck. "I can see it in his eyes, he thinks he loves me, but it is a different kind of love, not the kind that you and I share, filled with passion and emotion. I believe another has captured his heart for that deep soulful kind of love, the kind of love he deserves." "As long as it's not you, my love." He lowered his head to kiss her but she whacked him lightly. "Darien! Don't sound so selfish. You're too possessive for your own good," she huffed and turned away. "Forgive me, sweet, but when it comes to you, you're mine and no one else's," he growled and she squeaked as he lifted her up in his arms. "Darien, you male egotist, put me down!" and then her face brightened, "I should go find this girl and talk to her, I don't believe she understands Seiya fully. Yes, that's what I'll ha-mmph." She was silenced abruptly as his mouth covered hers. All thoughts scattered at the feel of his lips and she returned his kiss with just as much passion as he. He lay her on the bed and pulled away, smiling in the way that always made her heart beat faster, "No more Serena. This night is ours." End.
