Released today is the first Smetana Roster release in over seven months. Version 3.0 is a new direction in EHM rosterpacks, so be sure to check the readme for instructions.

A new zip file available this afternoon is version 2.02 of Smetana Rosters. This update addresses several situations. It changes the contract length of all 2002 free agents to 0, instead of 1, to eliminate the problem of teams not making timely qualifying offers to some stars like Theodore, McLaren, etc.
Version 2.02 also is up to date, featuring the big Anaheim/Jersey deal. Several small bug fixes, as reported in my e-mail and on the EHM site forums, are included in this version.
With this roster file in use, I strongly recommend the following procedure: Start your game with EHM 1.16, then immediately save and exit. In the appropriate savegame folder, edit the game date in the league.ehm file to June 29, 2002. Then save the file and restart your career with version 1.16. Hit the "next day" button, and you're up to date.

After much delay, Smetana Rosters versions 2.00 and 2.01 have been uploaded. Version 2.00 is set just before free agent season, on June 30. Version 2.01 is up to date (9 pm EDT July 5).
Both packs include all nine rounds of the 2002 entry draft. This pack, barring bug fixes and small updates, likely will be my final release for the VB version of Eastside Hockey Manager. Bigger and better things are still to come...
