About Us
Support M.E Hampshire is a local support group to give young people the opportunity to be with friends who understand their illness. The emphasis of the group is not on the illness but on the social time with others. We plan to meet every other month, to plan a trip out in the following month, suggested trips so far, Cinema, shopping, museum, bowling.
Because everyone who goes to Support M.E Hampshire has M.E. everyone understands how tired and how a lack of energy effects you, this makes the atmosphere more relaxed and layed back as you don't have to worry about explaining why you don't want to do much.
Although the group meets for an hour you don't have to go for the whole hour; you can just drop in, say 'Hi', and leave again. Any future events will be put up on the website. So keep your eyes peeled.
