2.      Edmund II "Ironside" King of England3 was born 996. He died 30 Nov 1016 and was buried in Glastonburg Abbey, Somerset. Edmund married Ealdgyth (Algitha) MORCARSON Queen of England on 1015 in Malmsbury, Wiltshire.

 

         Reign: 1016 - 1016 (not very long)...was killed during a banquet.

          

3.      Ealdgyth (Algitha) MORCARSON Queen of England4 was born 995.

 

 

Third Generation

 

4.      Ethelred II "the Unready" King of England5 was born 968. He died 23 Apr 1016 in Longdon, England and was buried in St. Paul's Cathedral, London. Ethelred married Alfgifu (Aelflaed, Elfreda, Elfgiva) GUNNARSSON.

 

         Reign: 978 - 1016

          

5.      Alfgifu (Aelflaed, Elfreda, Elfgiva) GUNNARSSON6 was born 968. She died 1003.

 

 

Fourth Generation

 

8.      Edgar "The Peaceable" King of England7 was born 944. He died 9 Jul 975 in Winchester and was buried in Glastonburg Abbey, Somerset. Edgar married Elfrida (Aelfthryth) WESSEX.

 

         Reign: 973 - 975

          

9.      Elfrida (Aelfthryth) WESSEX was born 945. She died 1000.

         Reign: 941 -946.  Was killed in 946, while at a banquet, by an outlaw named Liofa, who entered

         among the guests & provoked the king to a personal attack upon him.

18.     Egbert WESSEX was born 919. He married Redburch.

 

19.     Redburch was born 923.
