| Race #4 | Sat Jan 3 |
| "Gear
Envy"
Singlespeeders will receive double points for this race for gear ratios larger than 2.3:1 (gearing harder than 32:14 or 42:18). Tallest gearing will win a special prize on race day. Yes, this means it's possible to get double points for a stiff gear, and another double for the January 3 race date--quadruple points for a big gear on 1/3. There are rumors, though unsubstantiated, that an additional prize of $4.32 in beer will be awarded to the biggest gearhead.

| Note: All singlespeed riders MUST ride in the singlespeed class / singlespeed race to double points in the manners listed above. Though ss and fixed gear (yep) are encouraged in all races, those riding one gear in the 10 am A race will not double points by wearing your mammie's drawers. Ya gotta race at 9 AM. | |
