------------------- Resent warp anomalies have been wreaking havoc with communications across the entire sector. This has made the delivery of reliable new hard to came by. We apologies to our readers for any inconveniences this might have caused. Lord Admiral Terkel Dead ------------------------- The Lord Admiral was found dead in his state room on Herkamer. It is not clear as to how he died but many are whispering assassination. His death has had a profound impact on the Imperial Fleet. much of which has put to dock. This has left the independent fleets to pick up the slack. Senate To Enact Old Law ------------------------ With the death of Admiral Terkel and the sector cut off for the time, the Senate has decided to reopen the seat of Sector Govern. This position is normally granted by the High Lords of Terra them selves. But with the sector currently cut off the Senate thought it necessary to enact the old laws of self rule. Thees laws which were penned by Roboute Guilliman, have been enacted in the past. The vote for the Sector Govern is likely to be held soon. Death in the House of White -------------------------- The head of the Royal house of White passed away from old age. His son, who is also Arch Prelacy, has ascended to the thrown. It was expected that either his younger brother would take the thrown or he would give up his position of Arch Prelacy but neither has happened. House White has always had a strong relationship with the Ecclesiarchy considering they both call Tovar home. This surprising turn of events has increased the Ecclesiarchies power. It is not likely the Cartels will idly sit by and let this pass but it is hard to see what they can do till after the elections. Wyvern Legion on the High Council of Rho --------------------------------------- The High Council of Rho unanimously voted to offer Brother Clemens a seat on the council. Brother Clemens has been the Wyvern Legions emissary to the Rho Council for quite some time now. Helping the two to coordinate their efforts in the sub sector. The closeness of the Wyvern Legion and the Rho people has been very much in evidence for some time and this move dose not surprise many. Tho some fear this might be going to far. But through out the Sector there seems to be forming small alliances with many of the local Space Marines trapped here. More Marauder Attacks -------------------- Tho the Space Hulk seems to have moved on, it appears that the chaos raiders have not. For there has been an increase of raids and piracy. This could be due to the Imperial Fleet refusing to do patrols or it could be something more sinister. Orks of the Phalanges --------------------- With the increase of ork activity in the Phalanges sub sector, many fear a Waaggh! Pressure is being put on the Senate to do some thing. Governor Drumm is doing what he can to gather as much help as he can. Tau Have new Allies ------------------ There is reports coming in that the Tau have gained a new xenos ally. No confirmation on what it looks like as of yet. This is worrisome news and some say the Senate should launch an expedition in to the Wildes. Wyvern Legion on the Move --------------------- It looks like the Wyvern Legion is working on finishing the cleansing of Rempher. They have recently launched a massive assault on the chaos held city of Sakh. We have heard that elements of the RDF's 5th and 12th regiments are supporting the Wrath of Tiamat. We also are going to try and sneak through the lines and get an interview with some of the mercenaries. Newmanus Blockaded ---------------- Marines of the Rolling Thunder chapter have blockaded the Newmanus system. It is believed that most of the system has been lost the traitors and rebels. It is expected that the Royals will be working closely with the marines to retake it. |

| The Paradise Crier has just received incredible new from our sources in side the Cartel. Apparently the lack of traffic coming into the Sector is not due to pirates and xenos attacks as we were previously told. It's due to a large Warp Storm that has cut off the Pius Warp Gate. The Cartels have been trying to keep it a secret but today we received a memo detailing the whole thing. It is unclear as to how long the Sector will be cut off, but don't count on any new Imperial supplies for some time. Interestingly enough though is that the warp storm seems to have moved in to it's new location and revealed a few new Sub Sectors. We will work to keep the people up dated on any new information we might gain. |
