| Sector-Wide Trouble ------------------- All across the Sector, loyal forces are engaged in heavy fighting. It seems that the number of traitor commanders, planetary governors, and rebels are growing daily. All subsectors are suffering from increased unrest and rebel activity. Herkamer and Three Sisters have several planetary systems in revolt, Rho and Phalanges are suffering from heavy pirate raiding and local militant uprisings. Chaos marauders are striking all across the sector. All forces are stretched to their limits. Though things are starting to look dire, the faith in the Emperor of our loyal readers will carry us through. Eldar Raids Continue -------------------- The Eldar continue to raid Rho. There has been some local successes at suppressing these xenos raiders, but with the increase of Chaos pirates this might be too little, too late. There is a small ray of hope; it appears that these heretical aliens are also attacking the traitors, possibly even more so than our loyal troops. Buildup In Phalanges -------------------- With the completion of operations on Khosh, there has started a build up of forces to finally cleanse Valderan of the Ork menace, but things are going slow due to the increase of the Shattered Sun raiders. With a large portion of the Imperial Fleet redeployed to help in other subsectors, the pirates are catching much of the local shipping unguarded. Last Stand On Nemanus --------------------- The Royal Guard of the 12th Royal Army made a valiant last stand at Mistlanding, the capital of Nemanus. They were wiped out to the man when rebel forces finally succeeded in breeching the defenses, though they did manage to hold the city and the main space port for the last three weeks, giving time for many of our loyal citizens to escape the traitor hordes. Production Problems In Herkamer ------------------------------- Production is down throughout Herkamer. Recent revolts and terrorist attacks have hampered many systems. The Cartels are increasing security and cracking down on suspect groups, but we have yet to see if this will be enough. Perhaps a new regime should take over from the inefficiency the Cartels have shown in this conflict... |
