Minor derailment in the yard at Silsbee on a typical foggy southeast Texas morning. This one still required a crane though because the car came up off the truck and the center pin was out.
LLPX 178 near the turntable at Silsbee. 178 is ex Penn Central/Conrail #9505 then CSXT #1069.
WAMX 7013 in Silsbee on its way to Deridder, Louisiana 02/20/05. The stacks were capped and the cab was almost original and even had #6 air brake. All I could find about this locomotive is that it used to be a Frisco unit.
A BNSF empty rock train getting ready to leave Silsbee for Somerville with 6464 and 6515 (SD45-2u's) bracketing 7504 (SD45-2Bu) 02/20/05.
The yard power at Silsbee 02/27/05, WATX 2009 (GP20) and WAMX 7021 (GP7u). The 2009 is ex Union Pacific #710/480 then ITC/NW/NS #2009. The 7021 is ex Santa Fe #2720/2174 then Eastern Idaho Railroad #2174.... the orange and black paint was applied by EIRR.
