Links to places I like but you probably won't
80'stees.com Great sight if you love t-shirts having anything to do with the 80's. The Goonies, Dukes of Hazzard, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, it's all here....
A Prairie Home Companion Garrison Keillor's weekly radio show that airs on most NPR stations. Great music, special guests, and of course- the latest news from Lake Wobegon where all the women are strong, the men are good looking, and the children are above average.
Anna's Incense If you like incense like I do, then check out Anna's, she has lots of great selection. She ships from Canada, but it's fast and easy to order from the United States.
The Big Show Online "The Big Show with John Boy and Billy".... a morning radio show heard around most of the south. Very popular with hunters, NASCAR fans, and Texans. It's a pretty funny show everyday.
BJ and the Bear Fan Club OK, for those of you who actually *remember* this show (1979-1981) this is a great website. The whole basis of the show was the adventures of an independant truck driver and his pet chimpanzee... okay it sounds wierd but it was a good show. They even give a shout-out to poor Sheriff Lobo.
David Gray English singer/songwriter- his hits "Babylon" and "Please Forgive Me" brought him much deserved fame.
Dilbert I never understood this comic strip until I got into the business world. Now it makes so much sense it's scary.
JibJab this is a really funny site. Parody raps and cartoons. (needs flash)
Liquid Blue Tie-dyed t-shirts, Grateful Dead bears, Pink Floyd shirts, great unique incense, and much more. You can also buy some of their incense at Spencer's stores.
Margaritaville Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.
Railspot Great railroad stuff, mostly for midwest/Texas/southwest.
RoxEllen's Web This is a friend's site, she has tons of great stuff including Monkees and trains and Science Fiction. Check her out, it's worth it.
The Killdares A celtic-rock band from Dallas. If you like good celtic music and you live anywhere around Texas, you have to go check them out.
The Scottish Lion Import Shop Serving all your needs for Scottish clothing, books, tablewear, and jewelry. Funny thing though, they don't sell underwear........
Whad'Ya Know? Michael Feldman's "Whad'Ya Know?" Another great weekly radio show on NPR where contestants (live and call-in) try to answer trivia questions to win odd prizes. The website also has a weekly trivia game, try it, you might win something!
