When I'm alone, and the black wind howls, I begin to think. I walk through the maze of my mind, and reflect on the path I have chosen through the labyrinth of life. I know I've made a few wrong turns, I know I've had to back track. However you can't go through life regretting what you didn't do. You can't think of the bad things you've done, you need to only think of the things you've done right. There are plenty of people that are happy to remind you of your mistakes, you don't have to be one of them. You should think of the things you'd have missed out on had you not chosen the path you walk. Even if you made mistakes and had problems didn't something good come from it eventually? Don't try to spend too much time at the crossroads, because time spent thinking about which is the right path will only result in fewer options. Do what you know in your soul to be right. Don't listen to the voices of the people trying to mislead you. Listen only to the people who truly care about you and your well being. If a doubt arises in your mind then simply do what your soul tells you is the right choice. If you make a wrong turn your true friends will be right there to correct it and help you get back on the right path. There are an infinite amount of paths to travel through life. I can only pray to God that I am on the right one, and have faith that He will provide me with what is most important. That someday Her and I will be together, and that I will again feel the euphoria that has eluded me for so long.
