Daredevil pilot Ace Rimmer, fatally wounded after rescuing Princess Bonjella from the Nazis, travels from his own dimension into the Dwarfer's dimension. His intention is to try and bring out some courage in the cowardly version of himself aboard Starbug, and then hopefully recruit Arnold Rimmer as his replacement so that after his death another version of himself will carry on the legacy of the interstellar space hero. Will Arnold Rimmer continue the legacy of Ace Rimmer?
