With Kryten now a regular member of the crew, Rimmer takes him on a driving course to teach him how to pilot the transport vehicle Starbug. However they find themselves whisked away through a time hole (perhaps left over from the "Holly Hop Drive" in the last episode) and the Dwarfers find themselves on Earth in the year 1993. However, time is running backwards.
